Very low price for these, usually $33.89. Seem to be a few random clif bar deals today. They may be close to expiry though, but with all that sugar can't imagine they can be too bad.

Yeah they are. I think in the last post someone said 20g sugar but a can of coke has over 30g so not thaaat sugary.
For cycling and hiking which I use these for, they are a good energy dense snack.
I carry these on long or rough workouts on the bike, the sugar helps when you're feeling flat
If you're doing endurance sport you need to be having more carbohydrate than protein
