"This is your pilot speaking, we are midair at 300km, due to fuel saving technology, please swipe your credit cards on the readers located on your arm rests. This is to prevent the trap door beneath you from opening, so that we will not mistakenly offload you in order to keep flying to our destination."

"We need to wind these rubber bands really tight."

        • +4

No he isn't, his post seems sarcastic;because your requesting a deal when the rep of this company never posted this bargain.

quote reference number BX382 and they can look it up on the system.

  • Cheap holidays! Sweet!

  • Shit.. just booked flights..

    Anyone else going 13th - 19th ?

  • Damn it, if only they flew from Darwin…

  • Any good deals for MBS?

  • "….but we'll be able to squeeze in the first 100 customers for each of these flights". Squeeze is probably the operative word! But maybe it's something worth doing for that cheap price and 8 hours!

  • Back to 272 return… Did i missed $62 return??

    • Change return date.

  • i think its just $62 one way - not return

    • Was under 100 return though.

    • Lol

  • Would they have flights available after October?

  • Am I the only one worried that an airline couldn't get their PHP routes correct?

    • Where was the problem?

    • What's the problem? You are probably thinking that the web server will be confused by .php and .html. But it's possible that they told the web server that all the URLs on this site are handled by the PHP handler, so what runs is index.php and it can collect the rest of the URL, the en/promo-fares.html and deal with that appropriately, in the simplest case by fetching it from a directory, but it could also be mapped to a document in a database.

      So there is no problem.

      • Yes, they are probably using some kid of MVC framework where everything is handled by index.php. That's not the problem.

To me, keeping the index.php in every URL is impractical and ugly - and it's unnecessary. Assuming they're using Apache, this could easily be corrected using mod_rewrite.

  • I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong but it has "Singapore (RETURN Fly Fare) AUD199 05 Jun, 2012 - 13 Jun, 2012". I tried those dates and ones in between but keep on getting $230+ for the return flight only. Syd to Singapore is $73.

    • Ok, the el cheapo x3 tickets were for $199 return but it doesn't include baggage or eats anyway. Booked flights so I guess this gets a positive rep from me.

Does anyone know how the baggage allowance works? For eg, it's 15kg each, if travelling as a pair can I take a single 30kg suitcase? I called the call centre but didn't quite understand the indian guy who spoke with a fake american accent.

      • Why not just take 2 bags of 15kg to be safe? Or 1 30kg and 1 empty incase you have to quickly halve them!

Don't think Serapis has actually been to singapore lol.

      • Maybe he doesn't live in Aus…

    • +2

yeah… you should go to singapore during winter seasons… apparently you can build snowmen there, which is more fun. ;)

don't listen to petrox or scimshaw, they are just pulling your leg.

also, when you are there, remember to buy heaps of durian back to australia to share with your best mates.

  • can't log in to the exact product page

  • damn… Syd to SG return for $350ish…. Come to Melbourne!!!

  • Just feedback on the trip, got there safe and sound, and also back, no delays or issues onboard, was good overall.
