  • Website says product out of stock?

    • In stock for me. I've placed an order, so now the waiting game begins.

      • ahh…the waiting game sucks lets play hungry hungry hippo

        • Phone call today that the watch is on back order.

This is a suspiciously good*** deal from old mate Gerry…

    • He's just old Jim.

Jerry has lost his privilege of being called a mate.

Tbh I low key wait for another price error scandal that results in ozbargain users being called a bunch of professionals again by Uncle Gerry

        • Thing is, HN is well within their rights to reject orders that were placed at an incorrectly listed price, particularly when 1600 items were purchased by about 300 people. Clearly Brodens… This applies to pretty much all retail websites.

Outlined in their (HN) website T&Cs, Sect 5 para 9.

        • The ACCC would not comment because they're useless. The couple of times I've had dealings with them they always side with the big business and not the little guy.

          • +2

@dreamstation: I've had ACCC/Fair Trading force IKEA to me a cash refund for faulty merchandise after IKEA insisted it was my fault and only offered gift card as a gesture of goodwill.

Felt good getting a win for as a little guy and sticking it to their smug supply staff

Only spo2 tracking during sleep, am i right?

  • +1

Hmm not as many interest compare with $149 galaxy active 2… i wonder why.
The $60 harvey voucher is not good as i buy stuffs from them like once every 2 years.

    • Would be good if you could use the gift card on the spot when buying the watch :)

      • Dont think so

        • +5

Buy one get the gift card. Buy another with the gift card and refund the first one.

    • Sell it at classifieds for 10% off maybe

  • +1

Thanks OP first thing I've purchased from HN since 2019. For some reason they have spammed me with every single invoice from previous purchases after having reset my account password.

    • You prefer this than samsung active 2?

      • For one of the kids

  • +2

    This doesn't have a GPS.

  • +4

Happy with my $40 mi band.

  • Is battery life much better than Apple watch? I don't want to be slave of charging too many devices every night.

    • -5

Battery life is not very good, a bit disappointing.

    • +2

Definitely batter life is better than Apple watch
I need to charge apple watch daily, but fitbit versa2 only 5-6days to charge.

      • Ditto on this, my Series 4 needs to be charged daily

        • My series 3 cellular was charged every 3rd day have they reduced the battery ?
Galaxy watch 3 is also 3rd daily

      • It would last 5 days if you had it turned off maybe…

Versa 2 needs to be charged every 3 days at a stretch. 2 days if you do any activity. The poor battery and the "Fitbit premium" locking stats away is why I sold mine and moved to Garmin

        • +2

I get way more than 2 days on mine and that’s with daily hour long exercise activity, wear it while I sleep every night and occasional timer use while cooking. Mines only a year old though. I agree the introduction of Fitbit Premium was disappointing.

        • I agree with the 'premium' rip off. Fitbits cost considerably more than other brands so they should provide the 'premium' services to all…no way I'd be paying $15/m for it. That said, I had a Huawei band 6 and had it replaced as it stopped syncing stress data after a few weeks, tried everything and gave up. Amazon replaced it and the 2nd one did the same thing…returned it to get a Charge 5.

    • I chuck my series 7 once a day on charge when I get changed for work - but it’s full charged by the time I’m done…

Magnetic quick connect mount and quick charge makes it a non issue compared to my old Garmin, Sony smart watch 3 and pebble.

    • I get about 2-3 days with wearing it all day and while sleeping. Always on display off except for exercise.

    • But you don't get the gift card

      • New ebay deal posted if that works for you…

  • I cracked the screen on mine and it's unusable now. Repair would cost more than the fitbit itself, and a replacement screen is $80 USD on ifixit. Bit of a hassle from just dropping it on bathroom tiles.

    • Most smart devices wouldn't survive a drop on bathroom tiles.

Thanks OP. Last minute mothers day 🎁

Can you use the $60 gift card to buy Xbox Gift cards?

    • I don't think they let you buy another giftcard with a giftcard :)

  • How long the giftcard valid?
    3 Months?

  • +1

Grabbed a couple - cheers OP.

    • +2

      One for each wrist.

      • +2

Need 2 more for each legs

        • +5

Perhaps one more after that, depending on your biology.

          For performance monitoring, of course.

          • @Jonzay: i like your idea / theory but in practice it will just get in the way

  • +2

Was hanging for a charge 5 deal but this one tipped me over the edge. I figure hang onto the gift card for future Switch game sales and nab this too. Thanks OP!

GPS via phone?? That's crazy a smart watch that doesn't have a GPS. Did I read that correctly?

    • +1

      Hundreds are like this.
Why you are so fired up … bad sunday?

  • Don't forget to ask for your gift cards. The guy at the counter forgot it when I went in to pickup my order

    • Mine was given in a white envelope along with the Fitbit.

  • +1

Good deal OP! Shame it doesn't allow you to control volume on the Spotify app.

  • If you buy this online with delivery. Is the gift card emailed to you straight away? Thinking of getting one for my wife and I. Then I can buy one. Get the gift card and buy a second with the GC.

    • I'd like to know too. If someone could confirm, it would be great.

    • +1

      Confirming no gift card issued.
      Ordered around 11am today

      • Thanks mate :). Any idea if the gift card would be delivered along with the watch?

        • +1

It should be. At least that's how the gift card came with my other HN order.

        • For those who had this question like myself, I got my watch & bonus gift card delivered today. Had to call the store and provide the order number and bonus gift card number to activate the card over phone.

    • +1

Just got confirmation that Physical GC will be issued from online rep.

  • +1

    No problems OP :)

  • Is this a Harvey Norman Gift Card which only works at Harvey Norman or is this a Harvey Norman EFTPOS Card which works anywhere EFTPOS is accepted?

    • Mine read as Redeemable at Harvey Norman, Domayne & Joyce Mayne. No EFTPOS logos present anywhere.

  • One of the worst smart fitness trackers I have ever had. Never synced my workouts, could not change the time when DST ended. Returned it in a month's time and got another one!

    • +3

      got another one!

the same one ? why ? change of heart?

      • -1

No no, got another company. Would never have gone back and bought the same!
