i'll never buy from HN because of the import GST they caused and jobkeeper rort. (among other things)
that's more than enough for my moral compass. I'm sure there are others who don't mind.
@slowmo: I know a number small business owners who were doing better during lockdowns and also claimed the jobkeeper. This is not a big business issue, the jobkeeper money simply had too relaxed conditions.
HN also repaid the portion there were not entitled to.
Not worth the fight mate, I've made this point about, Apple, Google, IKEA, Amazon, supermajor oil companies that all shift hundreds of millions offshore to avoid paying tax in Australia, but OzB is too salty about Gerry and look the other way on everyone else doing the same thing or worse.

Really not comparable. Due to the pins on the official one I can just blindly plop it on the mount and the controller will charge. With that one, you actually need to plug it in, which yes, will still do the job, but is no where near as convenient.
Was looking into this last week. No stock on any JB near me and the nearest HN is too far away. Asked EB which had stock and they said they do not price match with HN -_- I picked up one from good guys, no dramas.
EB please, make it more and more difficult to justify purchasing anything from them :P
I tried JBHiFi to match the $9 BF2042 but they rejected. Wanted to use the $10 coupon.
Called again today and was able to get a price match. They don't deliver the key for BF2042 online though.
