Thanks. Got another habanero, which seems to be my heat limit for still being able to taste anything

    • +2

      got 2 habanero. yay.

Have you tried the Secret Aardvark Habanero? Probably the best hot sauce I have ever had. Goes on everything and would highly recommend.

It’s been sold out for a while here though, hoping new stock comes in.

This Tabasco deal is sold out too now.

I have, though I found it to be bland. Perhaps I had a dodgy bottle, might try it again soon then.

Culley's Reaper tastes really nice - for the first 10 seconds, before my tongue descends to the depths of Hades; sweating and…other, more unspeakable evil soon follow making it a sometimes thing :/

        • curious… do you regret it the next day?

          • +1

@slowmo: Generally but you build up tolerance over time. Don't jump into carolina reapers even though they're deliciously sweet (and easy to grow, just dump few seeds in a pot) without at least having no side effects with Habanero.

Some sauces have capsaicin oil extract and those never touch with a bargepole. That will make you regret being born.

            • @Hybroid: thanks! I'll look at some habanero to start with. lol

        • Hmm, odd. I had that with 8/10 Bunsters that everybody raves on about here. Completely bland with no heat. Maybe should try the 12/10.

    Thanks mate

Used to love this stuff but as I grow old my ability to enjoy hot sauce has gone down.

Now I just use sweet chili for spiciness ss Tabasco burns my whole mouth and I can't even taste the food no more lol.

I used to drink this stuff with a good mac and cheese oh how my body has become old.

What's next.. Soy sauce too salty for me.. Probably.

    • +3

Just gotta push through and build up your tolerance.

      • Lol been there done that in fact that is how I got to where I am now

I have lived a good life with Tabasco.. Trying to do the same with Kewpie now as the sooner I kick it off the better

Damn these hargows are so tasty

Or you could try this one - Kogan has free shipping and it has death in the sauce name 😆

        Thanks I hate it

      • +1

It's a good sauce, but $21 is a bit too much for it

  • Seems like the voucher isn't working for me. I added 3 to my cart s&s and ticked the 50% off voucher and it is only taking $3.60 off for the promo, which makes it $9.90 delivered with prime.

    • You have to order them one at a time and tick the 50% off

      • Yeah just realized that it is only applying the 50% off to a single unit per order.

  • +1

    OOS

  • Mine is showing $15.60 for a pack of 1 :(

  • +2

OOS habanero but I bought 2 chipotle for 5.83

  • "Usually dispatched within 1 to 2 months."

Lol. I love these surprise packages you get in the mail that you completely forgot you ordered.

    • 50% off $8.08 should be $4.04 though?

      • Isn't it 50% off one item?

"If you buy more than one item from the same coupon, the maximum discount amount of the coupon will be equal to either the percentage discount off or the face value of the coupon on one eligible item."

        • Woops responded to a wrong comment haha. Yea might have been "If you buy more than one item from the same coupon, the maximum discount amount of the coupon will be equal to either the percentage discount off or the face value of the coupon on one eligible item."

So the post may not be accurate as the minimum order is 2 bottles?

          • @tajid: Depends which variety you order.
The extra hot is OOS, but the original is $2.25.
Just have to make multiple orders.

            • @Tiggrrrrr: Though since the minimum order is 2 bottles, you will always only get ~25% off then?

              • @tajid: Minimum order is 1 for the original red.
You can order more than one by doing separate orders, to get 50% off each time.
                I just ordered 3.

                • @Tiggrrrrr: oh right thanks for confirming that. I was focusing on S&S and there's no S&S option for ori red anymore.

  • +1

Bought 2 of the original red, thanks.

  • +1

Thanks I bought the garlic pepper one 2X for $2.92. Always wanted to try this one.

    • +1

The garlic and green ones were a bit disappointing…😃

Franks Hot sauce is also on sale at Woolies:

Franks Red Hot Original Cayenne Pepper Sauce, 148 ml https://www.amazon.com.au/dp/B07Q5Z6NT6/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i…

      • What was disappointing on the garlic one? Not enough heat? I saw some reviews saying the Franks Sauce is ok for the price but taste wise nothing amazing.

        • Yep, it was more a garlic sauce than hot and the green was kind of sour hot….Never tried Franks but $2 for 148ml is worth a shot. 😉

          • @ne-us: Fair enough. I can still cancel my 2 garlic bottles being unsure about it. I wonder about the heat level if you say it’s more garlicky. I have to say I’m off the super hot stuff just can’t handle it anymore. I could mix it with the original hot. I would try franks for the price for sure but I have so many chillies in my garden that’s why I wanted to try the garlic one.

            • +1

@Thrifty Dan: Can’t really remember, I think I had it two years ago…Garlic is worth a try if they are on sale and you haven’t tried it before. I liked the habenero and chipotle, buffalo was ok 😃

              • +1

@ne-us: $5.85 for 2 bottles is not too bad I think. I guess I keep the order rolling…

  • +1

where is the coupon code ?

    • +1

      All gone I think… 😬
