Bellroy Tech Kit (Basalt/Bronze/Midnight) 20,000 Points + Delivery @ Telstra Plus

120

This is an organiser. Accessories are not included.

currently discounted from 30,000 points to 20,000.
available Until Stocks Last.
I'm not sure what a good ozb conversion from telstra plus points to $A is, but personally with the latest free points deals and the original telstra plus sign up bonus i have quite a few points.
I love my current tech kit and would like another, only thing is you should think about whats going to go in it first, because it good at fitting a lot of little things and slim charging bricks, but it dosen't work so well for larger ones like mine from lenovo.

OEM page:
https://bellroy.com/products/tech-kit/looma_viroblock_standa…

Min. cost 2,000 pts + $53

Delivery fees:
Delivery costs $5.95 or 2,500 Telstra Plus points.
Delivery is free for Gold members.

**edit
I read in the comments of another telstra plus deal that the general conversion rate of Telstra Plus points is 2500 points = $10, so $80, which is $9 off rrp, so not that great a deal, but idk what much else to do with telstra points

These EDC thingies have always held a certain fascination for me, but I can't figure out what their use case is.

How do you use it, OP?

It keeps your crap organised so it doesn't float around the bottom of your bag

      • +1

I get that, but I'm not sure I'd be bothered to pull it out each time to put stuff back in place.

Also I guess I don't transport that sort of stuff up and down, I have a set at work and a set at home. So it's just the laptop that goes with me.

        • It's good for those that travel frequently, I have a similar one that sits exclusively in my travel backpack.

        • I'm in IT so I have all sorts of cables, adapters, tools, drives, and peripherals I carry around with me, I've been looking at getting one of these things for a while

    • i have it in my backpack, stops all the cables falling to the bottom of the bag

I have two classic pouches(different model). It keeps my bag tidy, saves searching around in a backpack, and allows putting everything up on your desk easily.

Inside my office one, I carry:

      • Pen, marker
      • Mouse
      • USB-C Hub
      • Earphones
      • Cables - lightning, USB-C charging, USB-C 3.1, USB-C ->A, Micro USB
      • Band aids, screen cleaning wipes

Other one is focussed on what I would need on tech I would need for a trip away.

I have a cheaper one - a TomToc one that was included with a laptop sleeve. Bellroy definitely feels more premium.

      • Are you a hotdesker?

        • Yep, occasionally.

          • @ihfree: OK I can see this being perfect for a hotdesking setup.

It looks like a $10 toiletry bag. How the hell do they justify the $89 price tag, does someone come with it to carry it around?

If you've got points burning a hole in your digital wallet I suppose.

    $4 version at Kogan

Or a $16 big one at Amazon

    • it feels nice quality and has good elastic and and magnets are ok, i believe YKK zip too.
but your right, if you were going for pure functionality those are also good options.

Man I thought it came filled with everything you need at that price

  • Thanks OP! Fits everything that I need, happy with it.

I bought this one off eBay last week and it's way cheaper. Quality is good as well

    This looks like overpriced trash

Thank you muchly for the first sentence being what it is. Nice and clear. So often there’s a bargain about something I have no idea what is.

I actually didn’t need to click here to find it or ask but I did, to say this. 🙂

Like what was originally posted here!

"This is an organiser." was added later by a Mod, because Deal was so unclear. See Revisions.

Deal was too hard to understand before that, unless you already knew what the product was.
Just a "tech kit", use Telstra points on special, & how much points are worth…

My interest was just to use up surplus Telstra points, but could not work out what the product was.

I needed to view the video in Deal link to know what it is. Viewing it, seems marketed to those who are almost obsessive about organising. That's not me.

Haha. Ok, thanks - big up to the mod then! And hopefully the OP learned something today. Thanks for clarifying :)

Edit - to your point about organising, yeah I'm the same, my pocket is usually the organiser.

        • yer, im a long time lurker and have been trying to post a few things recently, ozb has been really good since i found it, ill know for next time, especially if its something a bit niche like this.
something like 'power washer' is pretty self explanatory, but i suppose tech kit with a picture of lots of apple products in it could seem like a really cheap box of apple products rather than an organizer.

thanks to the mod, I probably should have described what it actually was in the description, learning for next time
