  • Thank you, Chippen! Hoping to write me some WP7 apps (poor excuse to get another phone I don't need) ;)

I did the same when I got my android. Its pretty fun writing your own apps, tailor made for your needs

      • What apps have you made out of curiosity and what environment did you create them in? I'm looking at playing around with Carona when I stop being lazy

did a uni map app for classes, buildings and navigation. Did a semi finished bus timetable app and a few personal ones, which essentially I use for my gym counter/instructions. I haven't released them on the google market though, since they are more location based and for personal use.
As I wasn't developing for iOS as well, can't stand it :( did all the development on Eclipse + Android SDK and wireframing using Lucidchart templates since it allows collaboration.

  • Nice bunch of books. Would've been nice if they've included some of the System Center 2012 books though…but hey, beggars can't be choosers.

  • bonus points for a .mobi or .epub rar file with all of them ;)

  • good one, thanks OP!

thank you for sharing but I'm a Linux guy.

  • SEXIST Microsoft, eg, in "Security & Privacy for MS Office 2010 Users"

    Of 4 chapters titles:

    • Alice downloads a document

    • Bob develops policy

    • Carol collaborates on some content

This kind of allocation of tasks to gendered people can't be random… and - think about it - suggested stereotypes seem to be trying to -justify- the -unequal- rates of pay (between the genders) that we see in AU, & elsewhere, eg:

    • Alice could be a junior

    • Bob …upper management

    • Carol not necessarily even a supervisor

Who writes the books (tries to) define the society / workplace.
