      Think nab bought 86400 too.

      • +2

Nab is on a shopping spree

        • +13

Nab's first prucahse was ubank, second was 86400, one more prucahse to get $20!

          • +1

@Noctuafanboy: They bought Citi as well

            • @cashless: nah… Citi bought from them… consumer mortgage and consumer credit card

            • +1

@cashless: I am upset with that decision because I can't transfer money instantly between my US Citi account and Australia account from now on.

Officially as of today. This was announced last year.

Definition of prucahses in title please

"the large number of videos currently available for purchase"

      2.Firm crontact or grip.
"the horse's hooves fought for purchase on the slippery pavement"

  • I can only ever fit 2 prucahses in. 3 and I'm done.

  • So confusing, they use 86400 website but ubank brand

    • +1

They became UBank today. All subsidiaries of NAB now.

  • I have an account with (old) UBank, and (no longer) 86400. I guess they will email me in the future telling me that they will be merging my accounts.

    • +4

      With a balance of $86400

      • +1

You forgot the decimal point after the $.

    • +2

Yeah, a little confusing since I have both Ubank and 86400 apps and they both still work with different accounts in each, but have the same logo after the recent update

      • +1

Transfer between each one, maybe when the apps merge you'll have doubled your money?

  • +1

Mods have already merged 86 400 referral codes into UBank referral system. Speedy work!
    Thank you.

As an existing Ubank customer, where do I find the referral code? The website says to open the app and look in 'Settings', which doesn't actually seem to exist (there's Security Settings only).

  • What will the eventual unified Ubank look like? Will it have the "original" features or the 86400 ones? Perhaps it's just me, but the "original" is better. The sweep functionality is great. 86400 has a better app, true, but that's not enough.

    • +3

just read the t's & c's for the new accounts.
Sweep functionality is no longer offered.
That was the best thing about the uspend/usave accounts, in my opinion.
      I will be moving on.

      • That sucks. Now I have to set up auto-pays/transfers elsewhere with the added headache of no more sweep. Leave it to NAB to get rid of useful banking features for consumers.

      • +1

WTF, the whole point of the sweep was to ensure there was always enough balance to cover your bill payments whilst keeping your money mainly in the savings account.
So we'll have to do that manually every single day ? Lame.

  • can you split payment for the 5 transactions to qualify?

  • +3

Existing UBank users, note that they're going to change our account numbers 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️
That's going to cause me all kinds of hassle 💩

Changes that will happen once you've been upgraded :
To deliver a transformational banking experience, we need to move your accounts over to new technology. This means there will be some changes to your accounts, including:
    • BSB and account numbers: You'll be receiving updated numbers. These will be given to you once the upgrade happens.

    • That's going to cause me all kinds of hassle 💩

Yep. You will also need to setup your DDR agreements all over again.

I hope they don't remove the sweep function. That would be the last straw for me.

  • How good is Ubank??

Is it good for receiving wages and savings??

    Thanks

  • What counts as a card purchase? Very annoyignt eh website doesn't specify this. Can a bank transfer count as a transaction?
