    • Hi notewar, that is just an estimated fee which may be applicable if you haven't paid for it before. As mentioned by you, if you have already paid for it once. You won't be charged for it again.

  • From what I understand, service cancellations require 30 days notice, so does this mean that the minimum time connected to get the voucher would have to be 60 days (ie. 30 days to be eligible for voucher and then the 30 days notice period)? - or just 30 days (ie. Give notice to cancel on first day of being connected and as long as the disconnection date is >30days, then eligible for voucher)?

    • Because of econnex and shoddy description in the OP. eConnex takes a commission of about $100-$120 and trailing commission of about 10% every month from the provider and passes you only a portion of it. eConnex is just a modern day iSelect :ROFL:

      Also you can't choose a connection date when you sign up via econnex (they will probably add a field in the form seeing this comment now), so unless you are with an ISP where you can churn away without any notice, you are probably going to loose a chunk of money

      Also unlikely you will get your gift card unless or till the time Exetel pays their commission to eConnex.

      • Why do Ozbargainers care about what commission eConnex take?

        You can (and could well before your comment) choose a connection date in the future.
        I chose 30 June.

        So yeah, that destroys your third point as well.

        And finally, well I guess we'll have to see.
        Worst case I'm getting the same deal as the one that got 4+ times as many votes… My point still stands.
