  • Do you offer migration?

    • Hi there,

All of our VPS offerings are unmanaged so you'll need to configure them yourself and migrate any data that you need to move to them.

      • Uh might pass. Thanks anyway

        • All good mate :)

If you're currently on cPanel shared hosting and were looking to migrate to a Ryzen cPanel server, we do offer Ryzen cPanel packages that include a free migration.

  • Hi Op, why are hostname, nameservers mandatory?

    • Hi there,

You can put anything in the hostname and nameservers (sorry, it's a requirement for the module we use).

The hostname is used in your product description and will appear on your invoices.

Since the annual plan has no additional discount (compared to monthly), I just got a monthly plan to try it out.

By the way, my initial impression is very good. It is a lot faster than the OVH VPS I am currently running.

        • All good mate.

There's a different coupon for the annual package so you had to click the "Order Annually" link for it to automatically apply. Anyway, you still get the same discount recurring on monthly so it should be all good :)

Glad to hear you're enjoying it so far. We make sure our host nodes aren't overloaded like some other hosts so you should have this same experience for the rest of the time you keep the server.

  • Can I run this as a windows virtual PC?

  • Nice! I've just sent you a support email for upgrading my Ryzen2 server to this one.

The VPS has been great so far. Rock solid!

Also, any plans on supporting Debian 11 soon?

    • Hi Joel,

      I've sent you through a reply :)

I'll get the Debian 11 template added this week but if you want it more urgently, we can mount the ISO to the VPS for you.

      • No rush on Debian 11, just good to have the option, thanks :)

        • +1

          Hi Joel,

Debian 11 should now be available when ordering/rebuilding the server :)

      • Any timeline on ubuntu 22.04?

        • No timeline yet.

We can mount the ISO to the VM if you'd like to install it yourself though :)

  • Can I run wine / paravirtualize on these with Windows? I want to spin up a dedicated server that is in beta and only supports windows (for now) but still transition in the future.

    • Hi Troy,

Unfortunately our VPS packages don't support nested virtualisation.

  • how do you know when all the activations are used up ? and can you ask for more SSD space or is it fixed ?

    • +1

      Hi Droodle,

There's still a few activations left. When they're exhausted, it will let you know when you access one of the order links.

We sometimes can accommodate customisations so if you're looking to add more storage, just hit up our support and we'll see what we can do for you.

      • So its all gone now?

        • Not sure if all gone but I picked one up when it was first announced and have been very happy with the performance..

          • @cgb: Thanks I am currently with vultr and happy with them, but will need one more instance. Might try if its discounted again.

  • +1

    Missed out :(

    • I forgot to go back to it too. :(
      Next time maybe.

      • Maybe Quantum Core will send us the deal or post again.
