Imagine getting a 5800H just to pair it with 8gb ram…

Similar thoughts too with OLED screen combined with (relatively) poor resolution.

    • That was my first thought as well

    Imagine there's no memory
    It's easy if you try
    No more Chrome tabs
    Excel, Word, all will die

    • I miss you John 😥

  • What I find fascinating in the Laptop market is that a lot of people will still go for Intel and aren't convinced just how much more faster Ryzen is but the Desktop space it's a 50/50 battle between Red and Blue.

I guess it's because the mixture of a dominant Intel market for more than 10+ years in the Laptop space and boomers who ceebz researching.

    • Desktop is not 50/50 blue red, normal consumers that dont do research will just go blue because thats what they've always gone.

I wanted to go with AMD, but a lot of the configurations available here in Australia suck, sadly.

As an example, when comparing two of Lenovo's 2-in-1 laptops, the Intel configuration gets more ram, higher resolution display, etc. for the same price.

This trend will continue until manufacturers stop gimping their AMD builds.

Do these Vivobook Pro's support display and power delivery over USB C port? I have a non Pro line Vivobook which is good but hate the fact I can't get this when used with my USB dock.

Also the display on mine is average, so the OLED on the Pro is very attractive.

Edit: Found the answer on USB C display and power delivery, sadly no :(
