Do yourself and kids a favour and buy a "Springfree" trampoline, voted the best and safest trampoline by Choice Magazine in Australia.
Your kids will appreciate it when they don't go flying through the cheap net on this Cyclops trampoline or hit the ground when they bust
the mat when doing a belly flop. Trampolines are up there with angle grinders, power saws and ladders for sending people to hospital,
don't increase the odds by going tightarse on a budget trampoline. BTW yes I have a Springfree trampoline, I'm 56 and can still do a somersault on it.

    • Springfree or Vuly?

    • Your post seems a little like a scare campaign, its documented this trampoline Complies with as4989:2015 Australian standard for trampolines, can you provide any links to articles to back up your views on the safety side so people can make an informed choice?

      • Their marketing material is sure convincing I guess. You'd hope so for the price.

      • @spriggan43 It's interesting that you quoted the "Complies with as4989:2015 Australian standard for trampolines".
Did you know that "The current Australian standard for trampolines, AS 4989:2015, is only voluntary.
So while we expect manufacturers to strive to meet this standard, they're not required by law to do so".Source
So which Trampoline companies passed their own voluntary standards? "Who did pass the safety the test, you ask?
In December 2017, CHOICE® tested eight Australian trampoline brands, with all failing the safety test except Springfree Trampoline,
who were the ONLY trampoline brand to pass the tests. Source
ACCC Article; “More than 3,000 trampoline-related injuries are reported each year in Australia,” Ms Gago said.
“Trampolines were the second biggest cause of hospital-related injuries on play equipment, just behind monkey bars". Source ACCC

I must admit I'm not familiar with Cyclops Trampoline, but when I bought my trampoline I did checkout Targets offering beforehand,
this may have been a Cyclops trampoline. Anyhow I remember having a feel of the "safety" netting that surrounds the trampoline,
it felt like cheap flywire and was incredibly thin. There was no way this netting could survive repeatedly preventing kids and
teenagers flying into this net and preventing them from landing on the ground, concrete, garden pot,
lawn mower, tree stump etc. The upright poles were also thin and "temporary".

Everything about a Springfree trampoline suggests not only is it safer but it will last longer. You only have to go onto eBay to read how many
parents are selling their Springfree trampolines because their child has now grown up and left home and therefore they no longer need it.
There are currently 26 used Springfree trampolines for sale, there is only 1 Kmart, and no Target or Cyclops trampolines second hand for sale, why?
I'm assuming because they're not worth reselling or they're broken and in the bin.

CHOICE Expert Rating 90%, Springfree R79 Medium Round review, Recommended, Good points
        • Overall, the best trampoline on test.
        • Passes all structural, impact and safety tests: the frame and enclosure are strong and durable and the trampoline gives good
protection from any impacts against the frame, mat, and enclosure. There are no significant entrapment hazards on the trampoline.
        • The supplied instructions are excellent; they are clear and very easy to follow. The instructions and labels meet the requirements
        of the standard
        • The entry/exit on the enclosure is very easy to use.
        • The springless design uses fibreglass rods rather than traditional coiled springs, which reduces the risk of pinching and other hazards.
        • Excellent bounce quality.
        Bad points
        • The spring rods are comparatively difficult to fit to the frame; this makes the overall assembly harder than for most other models.
Make sure you've got other people on hand to assist (our testers called on a third person to assist them); alternatively,
it could be worth having the trampoline professionally assembled.
        • Comparatively expensive.

      • I laugh reading this and comparing it to the trampolines we had back in the day… no safety nets, no padding and could flip over when weight was distributed to one end …

$89 delivery fee in Perth. Ouch

  • $89 delivery I was much more than that to Perth and honestly it put me off having to pay delivery.
I got the 10ft one on a previous offer and I thought we’ll the saving on discount covered a good part of the delivery and just went for it.

I’m curious if anyone on here has either the 10ft or 14ft if so pm me as need to ask something.
I just installed mine and I have a question about parts on it and I contacted the places that provides parts etc and there replying was bit confusing.
I need to ask others who on it already.
