Thought it'd be good to take advantage of that instead of paying $8.99 every month for a year.

I think half of Ozbargain is still on the $7.99 yearly plan that Paramount made a mistake with last year :)

Yeah, they've got some good content, but their app is complete trash. Easily the worst of all the streaming services.
Android TV app seems to be even worse.
Have they added a login with device/qr option yet? Making the customer enter a password using a clunky tv remote is not fun. Looking at you disney plus as welll…
@tm32: For me on the TV Disney Plus just autologins. You just need to have the app running on your phone.
Anyone else only getting stereo on Android TV (I'm using a shield pro).
Programmes say they're 5.1 yet only outputs stereo and can't change in the app. Every other streamer works fine

Yeah that was such a waste of money. It’s not even a deal if it’s all trash and you never even use it. Just cost a lot of people $8. I definitely wouldn’t keep it again, not even at the glitch rate.

No, that's what it said originally but if you look into your subscriptions it now has the tick against the normal annual RRP.

Star Trek Strange New World (only 3\4 episodes), better than that Discovery Rubbish
Tons of old TV Shows (the good ones, some are really poor quality though)
The Movies they have are proper Hollywood blockbusters, not like Netflix rubbish.The only downside, is Paramount make a lot of good movies and they are leaving other services.
You can link with your prime account, to make it easier to find content. Not that I like the Prime interface, it's crap and not much better than the Paramount app.I watched the first episode of the Halo series and thought it was pretty bad. The episode started off pretty well with the Spartan v covenant action.
It gets worse… master chief is out of his suit like 70% of the time + DGAF about the rebel sideplot which feel like filler episodes.
@Serapis: Yeah when master chief took off his helmet in the very first episode I hoped out lol. Seems the general consensus is that the rest of the episodes were pretty bad, especially the sex scene lmao.
Sure am. I’ve used it a few times - worth it alone for the full back catalogue of South Park. They also have some titles in 4K which Netflix does not.
Missing about 5 EPs - Super Best Friends", "Cartoon Wars Part I", "Cartoon Wars Part II", "200", and "201".

Actually it looks like I’ve got 7 months total? Signed up to the quarterly deal. So think I only got offered 4 months for cancelling? Can’t remember what it said exactly as I was just busy clicking through and following the steps. My expiry is now 04/12/22.

1883 is a great western. Ignore that it's a Yellowstone spin-off - it's set 150 years earlier and is a totally standalone thing.

Be aware that the content is very limited. IMO it's is not worth the sub. Terribly small library. Unappealing shows. Paid $5 for a year on the Apple app store. It's worth $5.

For $7.99 a year it was a bargain. Watched last season of Star Trek Discovery on it as Netflix has ditched it, and now started Star Trek New Beginnings… got my moneys worth!

Lol Paramount + is a joke. I'll never sub to them ever again.
My account somehow got hacked ( I think ) and the hacker changed my log in email (Without Paramount even emailing the original email to confirm this is what I want). I can no longer reset the password because the account is under a different email. So I email paramount asking for help, they replied to ask for more details, which I gave then they never replied.
I email them again submitting a new ticket, they reply asking me for more details, I do that and they never reply.
What a pathetic back end. Poor customer service, and even worse security features.
I also suspect that maybe they knew I underpaid for my account ($5.95 for the year) and just closed it off. They aren't replying to avoid the situation. Who knows.
