        The prev deal on this was $195. Lowest around $177 in November.

        Also with 4K on the pro it only does 30fps, so QHD 60 is a good vid res already.

          Videos online showing that the 4K doesn't necessarily pick up licence plates better than the non-4k ones. Of course details on other things are better cos of the 4k res

              @hamwhisperer: Has nothing to do with frame rate in this instance , the optics are just not as good as the 1080p and 2K cams. Especially in low light etc.

                I agree, optics must be bad if 4k isn't beating 2k or 1440p.

                (frame rate would however help a little, sure, not much tho)

              @hamwhisperer: It also depends on transfer video data bitrate. For example 4K video with only 10Mbps will look worse than 1080p with 30Mbps.

        I'm gonna downscale it to 1440p due to heat issues at 4k. I was sold on the buffered parking just to check what happens previously to a detection.

          In my experience, the endurance cards are better for dash cams. On urban roads without potholes, it shouldnt really matter, but if you for example drove down parramatta road in Sydney a lot… you'd want the endurance cards.
