  SAA is an electronic safety standard of the AU marketplace. So every charger (wall charger or phone charger or car phone charger) must follow the standard. The test report should be by an accredited laboratory :) This car phone charge pass the electronic safety of AU standard :)

It stop working for a few minutes and get super hot.

the charger smoked up and my whole cabin ended up smelling like burnt electrics.

Plugged it in and it started smoking and melting. Burnt my hand unplugging it and throwing it out the window. Would not recommend.

Cheap generic crap, I don't think I'll risk my vehicle or devices with it…

I bought this a few weeks ago and so far it has been really good. I bought it to charge my HP 15” 65W laptop via USB-c while on the road and it does it’s job beautifully. But it does get hot when charging a laptop which is expected. It also charges iPhones quite fast so overall I’m very happy with it.
