Hey Oz bargainers, first post!

We have a special deal for you and your loved ones!

$100 off a personal medical alarm using the code OZBARGAIN.

Why get a Personal Alarm?

A personal alarm might seem unnecessary when you are youthful, but it could work as a life saviour for your elderly and debilitated relatives.
You may experience anxious feelings if they live alone, repeatedly thinking about their well-being, possibly because of frail health. The elderly are more susceptible to falls and injuries.
Regrettably, sometimes, family members & friends do not realize that their elderly relatives need help until it is too late.
Thus, to avert such unfortunate situations, getting them a personal alarm can be the ideal thing you can do for yourself and your cherished ones.

You can use the New Generation Safe Life Medical Alarm for many applications
Such as:
Knowing the whereabouts of your children
Aged Care
Dementia Care – in particular locating a wanderer & falls detection
Retirement Village use
Farm work and lone workers
People with disabilities and ailments
Personal Security
Health Professionals and more

    • Hi FLICKIT!

First off, we work closely with the manufacturer if we have any specific needs for our clients, who will update the firmware specifically for us.
We also offer these devices with a SIM card, directly managed by us on the Telstra network. Easy care does not supply their devices with a SIM card, just advise which SIM cards can be used with the device. If you were to take our device we would reduce the price by $60 (as the SIM card is $60 per year after the first year for emergency use credit.)
I am also not aware of whether Easy care will program the devices for you or not, as they do not mention it.
We also have great technical support as these are one of our best-selling devices.
If you have any more questions don't hesitate to ask! :)

      • Just get a post paid SIM card from Amaysim, costs 15 cents a call, and assuming you don’t have any falls, this could add up to less than $10 a year.

          Hi Ozbking,

Everyone is free and welcome to use a different SIM card provider, note that some SIM card providers, like ALDImobile, have policies in place that state their SIM cards cannot be used in these devices, it mainly applies to prepaid plans.

We are happy to offer an extra $60 off if you use your own SIM, bringing the price down to $337 :)

Total price in title. Please read the rules before posting.

    • Hi Charcoal!

Thanks for pointing this out, fixed!

  • I wonder what the ongoing subscription costs?

    • Hi Jd,

If you decide to use our SIM card, the first year is included in the initial price.
Each year thereafter is $60 annually for emergency use credit.
You are also welcome to use your own SIM card, in which case we will knock off an additional $60 from the price, bringing it down to $337.

Knowing the whereabouts of your children

    Really?

    • Hi GG57,

Some parents like to keep tabs on their children. It's just one of many applications for our personal alarm!

      • +1

I have an app for that!

        • I'm glad you do! :)

      • Could I attach it to my dog's collar?

        • +1

Technically yes, but there are collars with inbuilt GPS trackers in them that may be more suitable! Check out a few options here

      • Isn’t that called Helicopter Parenting¿

Psst, want one for $237? The two coupons stack ;-)

Clearly, I'm new around here 😂
      Thanks for the heads up!

  • Isn't it free for over 75yo?

  • Hate how the device is $500 yet the product is still photoshopped into a scene…

    • Hi ATangk,

Thank you for the feedback, I will endeavour to get some proper photos up :)
