    I activated on Sunday evening and have not accepted the port out until I receive the eGC SMS. Default Vodafone number is active and can receive calls, SMS etc.

    I'll continue to update here until I receive my eGC

    • Maybe VF fixed the issue. The SMS for porting may have an expiry time?

      • Maybe.. has anyone received the eGift Card on their ported number?

      Yes as long as you have bought 2 SIM cards from Coles.
      It’s basically 1 x gift card per 1 x SIM ($30 or $40).

    Still no text msg with the $10 eGC for me yet.

    • Same.. a couple of days ago I emailed [email protected] and reached out to user @JohnnoT6 from the past deal thread, but haven't received a reply. Does anyone know of any other avenues to have this resolved?

    • Some possible reasons that I can think of:

      1. It was not purchased from a Coles store during the promo period. Maybe you have a few at home and activated the wrong one.

      2. The Coles store may not be listed under participating locations by VF somehow, due to negligence or a recently established store. In other words, all purchases made in this store have this issue.

      I'll activate mine on the 29th or 30th.

      • For me:
        1. Purchased during promo period.
        2. Purchased at store not listed as ineligible in T&Cs, albeit could be internal system error as you said.

    Activated Prepaid Plus with new number. No sign of the $10 Coles gift card. Pretty much in line with my "hit and miss" experience with Voda.

      Hi mate, I contacted you directly within 3 hours of receiving your DM.
      I've sent you a voucher and given instructions on what to do with your other one (as it's not activated yet).
      Not sure how this equates to "hit and miss" experience, please let me know if there's anything more I can do.

      • "Hit and miss" experience refers to no sign of the SMS on the Coles $10 gift card after activation which is not in accordance to the T&C promo. It was the same for previous promotion.
        Your prompt support to send the gift card via email definitely have made the difference and the OzB community appreciates. Thanks again for your help.

    Neither have recieved the $10 Coles card yet.

    I emailed [email protected] but no reply.

      Yep agree - they've done this several times before and theres always loads of people who don't get the gift cards so Coles should just not allow them to do it when they can't do it properly. I didn't buy it this time as I was "scammed" last time!
      I also never got a reply from prepaiddirect so they will probably ignore you too!

      But please send an ozbargain direct message to @JohnnoT6 - review the other posts above and you will see he works for Vodafone and he actually did reply to me and gave me the gift voucher. So while the rest of vodafone isn't able to send a gift voucher or reply to an email this guy actually does care and I doubt its his job to patrol ozbargain so he is probably going out of his way to help us all!
      You can click on his name in one of the posts above and then in the popup click "Start Conversation" (if you have DM turned off in your settings you will need to change your ozbargain settings first) and he will probably reply to you the next time he's at work.

        Just to clarify, this is not “dodgy promo”. There are a small pool of service numbers that are blocking the generated TXTs from landing. We have successfully sent 10s of thousands of vouchers to customers across the last 3 promotions like this.
