  • Hopefully this means the infinity fans will be released soon 🤞

    • +1

Lian Li official on reddit have said this month. I believe the 16th but last time they were delayed

      • Fingers crossed 🤞. Hope they don’t charge even more for them compared to the SL/AL. I’m just going to go for it when they drop as long as it isn’t hovering around the $200 mark, that would just be a rort.

        • 🤞I hope this isn't an accurate price indicator ~$175aud

  • I know Lian Li have historically been expensive but can anyone justify why this costs $120?

    • Really not worth the money, more aesthetics & less cable clutter due to the way fans connect before anything else.

I have 12 of these AL120. It looks good and thats all I want.

      • Haha exactly what I’m saying. I personally think the SL look the best on the sides. The infinity fans are going to be a mix of both the AL/SL variants, which I really want!

        • +1

SL is good also. I had 9 of SL120 last time ;)

  • I had these fans, but in 140mm version, and they are awful in terms of performance compared against Noctua.

    • +2

Lian Li AL fans are not available in 140mm

    • You must mean the SL variant (first gen)

  • does the controller support 6 fans?

    • 1 controller supports upto 16 fans.

  • Wow these never go on sale!

I've got these, honestly I wouldn't buy them again even though they do look good. I really like Lian Li products but their fans are overrated after using them. The cable management with them is amazing, but its definitely not worth being 3-4x the price.

Fan RPM cant go lower than 700 rpm, other fans can go to 500 rpm. So they could be a bit quieter when your pc is idling.
The controller doesn't have any 3rd party RGB integration (if you are into that sort of thing).
The FAN header back to the motherboard only has a single cable to take the PWM signal to the controller. Therefore it does not report RPM in any software.
I have had 3 replace under warranty as the LEDs started to burn out if you run them at 100% brightness (full white). Mine started to have a yellow tinge in some areas after 5 months. (the SL120 had similar issues).
