Agree. I'd love to replace my old V6 slim and would prefer the V10 as the bigger bin size would be a win given the amount of hair from my two dogs. I just don't see it being worth twice the price though.
What’s the best way to mount it if you can’t drill holes into wall?

tried wall mount but gyprock couldn't hold.
Ended up buying a floor stand from ebay. Excellent purchase for about 30 bucks.

@quikstix: gyprock studs made large holes with constant tugging when lifting vac from mount. Maybe my gyprock is thinner? what did you use?

I have used a few over the years, even have a mate that used Ramset hollow wall anchors to mount a 65" tv on the gyprock coz the studs werent in his ideal viewing position 🤣

There was another I can't remember but have also used loads of 3m command Velcro strips also for mirrors and 9ther heavier items

2022 version have the updated anti-tangle motorhead suppose to prevent long hair tangling in the head, also, the package direct from Dyson has 3 extra attachments.

I have the dreame T20 and it is a pile of s… Seemed ok when I got it but its always getting battery over heating issues now.
I was thinking about changing to the V10, but maybe the V8 would still be better.

Same boat, I feel the Dreame V9 was great bang for your buck but at $450 I would get this if I had the choice again over the V9 for $190.
Bought my parents the Dreame V9 after they loved my Dyson V6 but they hated the price tag. They now much prefer my Dyson over the Dreame (said it was a POS so much that they went back to sweeping rather than using the Dreame). I just bought them this V8 and made them happy.

I got Dyson V10 and Dreame V12, they are both great but i prefer Dreame V12 (got it on special for $4xx delivered). Dreame v12 slighly more suction, locked on mode, more tools (esp flexible extention), cheaper than Dyson V10 ect. Only have dreame v12 for around 4-6 months, don't know if it last.

If you have long dog hairs and a tiled floor, is it better to get the fluffy head or use the anti tangle head?

They’ve come a lot further than most people realise since the old models. The newer models (excluding v12) are much more trying to replace corded vacuums rather than compliment them

My Dyson V10 need to push pretty hard to open the bin, it is quite annoying. Don't know is it just my V10 or all like that.

That’s last year model. Dyson has rebranded all of their vacuum cleaners to V8, V9, V10 with improved heads etc
Just an FYI that V9 is the motor in the supersonic hairdryer and airwrap styler, it isn’t in any Dyson vacuum. People are confused by this all the time!

This stacked with a 0.5% cashback (not great but it's something) you get potentially around $12.
