  • Nice price!

  • Great deal at 20% off. Handy to stock up on these. Especially since Xbox live version of Minecraft just came out.

You'd have to go into stores to pick it the cards though. Delivery cost is $10!

    • On the website it allowed click and collect. Today they don't want to honer it. Apperently it was suppose to be an online only deal.

I phoned the web contact and the store and it's no one's problem. Order it online or pay whatever the store ask.

      • I went back to the store and they sorted it out. All good.

  • I've just discovered my DSE seems to have closed down. I was at the shops a couple of weeks ago and there was no signage about it. How sad.

  • I don't really want to go to the dick smith on bourke st anymore, they didn't hold my click and collect item and then sold it, then next time I tried to buy a game and they didn't have it (the dude gives me a look like please don't complain lol) + 1 for tempting me

  • Just bought 4 cards from Queen Street, Brisbane store. Nice deal!

  • Easier/cheaper to just create a US account and buy US points through Amazon.

    • +1

keeping in mind though, the games you purchase will not be linked/tied to your (proper/actual) profile. and they will only be playable with your actual profile on the console you bought them on.

not an issue for some, for others it can be a bit of a hassle
but i guess it's an option nonetheless

      • Not true, I have a US account and play them on my australian account all the time. I'm not sure if i am following you?

        • Same xbox that you bought the games on?

        • Yes

  • +1

    awesome bargain, cheers!

il go to my nearest dse tomoz for the pickup :)

    • You're welcome. Not a bad first bargain! :D

Just wish I didn't screw up the title as it was supposed to read "Live" not "360".

      • Not something that really matters, but putting it as 2 x 1500 makes it clearer. The more info in a short, sharp and concise title the better.

        • Thanks. Is there a difference between 2 x 1500 and 3000 (= 2 x 1500)?

        • +2

In terms of points there isn't. But in terms of how the points are split there is. You can't split a 3000 point card but with 2 x 1500's you can split the points with a friend or something.

    • Did your store honer it? Mine didn't.

  • Bah. Looks like the store never got my Click and Collect order, even though I got the email… They also told me the price was $50 over the phone. Might go in tonight and check. The price is still at $40 as of this morning.

  • The DS stores did not honor it. Claimed did not receive the Click and Collect order over the phone yesterday, but said available to get in store today. Went today and was told the price is now $50. Waste of time.

    • Show them the print out.

    • I got two 1500 points cards last night from DSE Southland. The guy had trouble finding it for $40 in the system and found that the offer had expired! I thought it was on until June sometime? I told him there is a poster of the deal in the game isle and he asked me to grab it for him. He ended up giving them to me for $40 as they still had the sign up but he then screwed it up and threw it away.

The DSE website does show it as being back to $50. I guess if you go to a store, check and see if there's a sale sign and you might get it for the sale price. Just not Southland…there isn't a sale sign anymore. ;)

  • has it expired?if not i want to go to JB to price match

  • Damn, I hope this deal can still be redeemable for the next week or so
