But Joe Rogan said it was true and he is basically the smartest man in the world - tied with Jordan Peterson and Calista Flockhart

    • I cant complain about the possibly soy might have when my massive milkers have nothing but KFC and Maccas to blame.

    • Link
      Beer and chicken causes that

  • I’ve been waiting for this, thanks OP

    Soyboys!!!!

    Shows $4.79?

  • Is this still active?

  • Deal looks dead

    • +2

      Fake news, link please?
I'm not sure how much but you'd have to drink like 11L a day. Beer and chicken is much worse for hormones.

      Always one deadchit

I'm a nutrition researcher, that is false information you've heard, phytoestrogens from other plants have been tested in mice and did have a negative impact on sex hormones but only when consuming the equivalent of 50 cups of soy milk a day. Soy is good for you but always get organic

    • +2

(Organic) Soy contains PHYTO(plant)estrogens which have practically no effect on human hormone levels and actually block the body's oestrogen receptors, reducing overall levels/uptake of oestrogen.

Cows' milk on the other hand contains mammalian oestrogen and growth hormones, which DO have an effect on our bodies since they're essentially the same as our natural human/mammalian hormones: https://www.livestrong.com/article/554285-does-milk-raise-es…

It's like injecting steroids to boost testosterone. Your body makes as much testosterone as it needs. Artificially injecting more can cause issues - same with oestrogen, especially for women.

      Stick to your turkesterone matey

I can't help but feel these arguments are always at least a subtle dig at women. Even if the hormone disruption had any validity at the level of consumption that's consumed, I don't understand this hyper-online alt-right esque obsession with hypermasculinity. Because anything that makes you closer to a woman is lowering yourself apparently. Apologies if I've misinterpreted you on an individual level, however this soy = cucked or "fag" logic is definitely pervasive in certain places and it's tiresome.

  • for a moment, I read. Amazon au is selling expired stock. 😅

I got mine this morning, expiry is August 2023.

Coles Organic Soy mill is $1.60.
    Is it a good competitor?

    • +1

If you like the taste of it then it is a nailed on winner.

For $1.60, maybe purchase one and try it…..then you will know for definite otherwise I think you may be chasing your tail as one person's taste buds are different to another.

Love sprouts….hate sprouts if ya know what I mean.

    • +1

Yeah just try both and see whether you like the taste a lot more to justify the premium price. Mostly matters for coffee, otherwise anything with similar good ingredients is fine, good to avoid soy protein isolate.

My wife only approves of Bonsoy with her coffee. I've tried to do a switcheroo on her many times choosing cheaper options from woolworths/coles/aldi and she can pick it each and every time.

Although I don't agree with her coffee habits I must say it does have a creaminess to it that the others don't have.

      • It is the sugar content compared to other soys. It makes it a lot easier to make a good latte. I don't know any other soy milk that works as well and has a strong flavor (the competitor the cafes use doesn't seem to work quite as well, but they prefer it because price and stock is more consistent).

      • Has she tried this one?

        So Good - Barista Edition

I don't mind this one and its $2/L at the moment.

    • Tastes fine for me,

  • Cant access WW link

  • Thanks. Stocked up a lot since it's a great price.

    • Same got 6

  • Available again from Amazon for $3.02 S&S

  • bought 24 thank you!

  • Does one need to get them to price match or anything? It's showing as $4.31 with subscribe and save for me.

    • they upped the price unfortunately
