Hi guys. Some great news after days of discussion with Pizza Hut (don't worry, I haven't been ignoring your comments lol). We're making good to Cashrewards members that may have been impacted during last Friday's Pizza Hut glitch. So if you don't have a successfully tracked Pizza Hut purchase showing in your Cashrewards account, you should now have a $10 credit instead (please check).

It's going to save you needing to submit a claim (please do not lodge any tickets), and hopefully goes some way to restoring faith in Pizza Hut for the downtime last Friday. Hi all. This very popular deal is back. Ensure you click & buy within the 5 hour promo window. If you can, pay with PayPal and use the Cashrewards App as previous comments suggest better tracking success (see bottom of post for more tips).   • Cashback is eligible on use of all Pizza Hut promo codes.

    If that address is correct, here are three other things you can try:

    Try again later.

    Orders dont go through.

    Used Paypal and Google pay. Was charged 3 times, no luck. Used the app and the laptop.

    I regret placing the order now… I'm guessing since I never received an email despite my card being charged and reaching the confirmation screen, that I'm not getting any pizzas from this order.

      yep, you'll have to put in a dispute

      • When will you be filing the dispute?

        • I plan to do it when the transaction is no longer pending.

        • at the bottom of the payment it says something like "issue" or "problem" or something. I just hit that and filed something straight away

    Payment went through and tracked by Cashback, but no confirmation email from PH.

    Got to the store and they did not have my order in their system. They had to check something in the back room to find it apparently.

    All good now, but have to wait an extra 15 mins for them to make the order now!

      This sounds like the best case scenario.. Wonder if I should call to see if they have my order floating around somewhere. I don't have the order tracked email though.

      I wonder if I'll still get a cashback, if I do somehow get my pizza? I have a screenshot of the order confirmation page.

        at least you have a confirmation page…most of us got nothing. It just kept going back to the payment page…so, I don't know if mine is in the system too. I did a dispute through Paypal straight away. I'm not going to bother to do this if I am not getting the $10 cashrewards cashback tracking anyway

          Yep, I agree. I'm better than that and broke my own rules by letting the comment get to me. But why call out CR for holding the deal on a Friday? Ideally, this is the best day of the week to run it which we've done very successfully in the past. Sometimes you simply can't win, no matter what you do :)

Here I’m having paid for something that I don’t even have a confirmation for. You have your fan boys on here which is fine but every now and then you do get it wrong and you need to be told.

              @MR-AM: Look, I totally get your frustration, and on reflection I apologise for the comment. I should have shut up and said nothing - very unprofessional for a rep to speak in that tone, no matter what. Please understand however that we (CR) don't pick and choose the times and duration of these deals. They are planned in advance and coordinated by Pizza Hut. So we either run them, or can them. If there's anything I can do to help, please let me know. Just rest assured that you won't be $10 out of pocket as per my comments in the OP. Please have a wonderful weekend.

                @tightarse: Look I’m also sorry for calling it poor form! This is the second time when there’s been no confirmation when it’s been held on a Friday for me and it’s really frustrating as I ordered for a different day and the customer service on PH’s end is shocking as no one even answers the phone.

                • @MR-AM: All good, just glad there's no ill feeling. As you're pre-ordering for a different day, in future why not hold off ordering for an hour or so while the traffic dies down a little? Anyway, I'm outta here. Gotta go collect my free pizza :)

              @Ozbargainasaurus: The thing I don't get is that in spite of the comments, we've recorded more transactions to members in the first hour than we ever have before for Pizza Hut. So something must be working. Anyway, have a great night.

      not really cr fault pizza hut should have the bandwidth & website to be able to handle this, not something you would expect from a global company really, well maybe we shouldn't be surprised

      • Its not bandwidth, its the computer hardware, and dynamic content loading the server with the huge traffic from this deal plus the high Friday demand causing problems.

        Interesting, i have ordered picked up the order, and finished it over half an our ago, but just got this SMS.

  • Website glitching out hard at this. Didn't like my regular address, made me log back in, and then won't let me place the order. Just got kicked back to the homepage. Let's see if it works.

      EDIT: Website works perfectly fine with CR disabled, so not seeing how this is "just Pizza Hut's fault" as some have said/implied.

        Website works differently when you click through as you can see by the URL since it needs to track your purchase. There's things in place for this to happen and it's not active if you go to the website normally.

        But hey both work fine for me. Generally how it goes when a website is under load.

    Cashrewards app not working

  • Had a lot of problems with Credit Card tonight so ended up using PayPal via 28 Degrees card, hope there isn't a fee for using 28degrees via PP

    Finally got through to someone at the store who said they didn't have my order. After getting my address, they went away and came back and said there is a problem with the system that's being rectified (worth noting the hotline recognised my number and told me my order was due 20 minutes ago…). Told me to wait half an hour and call back if I don't hear from them.

    TA- if you read this, what happens if I happen to receive the pizza but not the cashback tracking?

    • If you didn't get the confirmation email you won't get tracking. I got the email but no tracking so will submit after seven days.

      • Am I just stuck having received neither email? Hopefully, assuming I do get the pizza eventually, that the screenshot of the 'order complete' page is enough?

        • Screenshot might be ok but I guess like me you'll just have to upload it in a week's time and pray its approved

    • Update: the store hasn't called me back yet and now I can't reach them again to say "don't worry about it" if they ever do get my order (unlikely but hey). Off to find something else to eat!
