Hi guys. Some great news after days of discussion with Pizza Hut (don't worry, I haven't been ignoring your comments lol). We're making good to Cashrewards members that may have been impacted during last Friday's Pizza Hut glitch. So if you don't have a successfully tracked Pizza Hut purchase showing in your Cashrewards account, you should now have a $10 credit instead (please check).

It's going to save you needing to submit a claim (please do not lodge any tickets), and hopefully goes some way to restoring faith in Pizza Hut for the downtime last Friday. Hi all. This very popular deal is back. Ensure you click & buy within the 5 hour promo window.     • Just read your comment, I rang Pizzahut head office as you typed that….. still on hold.

  • Ok so finally got through to PH head office, the person I spoke with said she'd personally be sending the order confirmation email and that it would include the time and date order was placed and order number, my account only shows the day not the time, so looks like I can get this sorted, a lot of effort for a cheap pizza.

    • Still no email after calling head office again and being told again they'd send it, they can get their promotional emails to me but not the email I need, head office can't process refund, store needs to do that, store cannot find my order even though I have an order no. and can track that no. on their website.

      How the profanity is this company in business.

  • I ordered Friday night for pick up, was heading home and called in to the store on the way. It wasn't quite ready when i got there, still in the oven. I ordered a snizzza. Seemed like the healthiest option. Saved cooking for one, on a cold Friday night
    The CR email for tracking the transaction came through while I was waiting at the counter.
    The only issue I've had with CR and PH was the last PH promo went past the scheduled pay out date, I did the enquiry button with CR and then payment was processed and paid out not too long after (maybe two days?)

    On that note, it wasn't just PH. I had to submit enquiries for Repco and Boost at the same time, for going past scheduled pay out date.

  • Just realized CR didn't show up at all for my order…. did it via CR iPhone app. can see the click history but there is not even the normal "Send a Claim" button for those click histories…

    • Send claim should appear after 7 days, you'll need the order confirmation email I believe.

      • thanks for the info mate… yeah I do have the order confirmation email, the order went through successfully luckily, although the site was quite slow at the time.
        the claim button may appear tomorrow then… will wait and see.

    • Pretty sure if they don't dispute it, you will just get a refund.

  • For overpaying through PayPal due to system issue only thing my local store can offer me is pizza for the excess charge. They r asking for pizza hut emails which I don't have and PayPal transaction IDs doesn't help them to investigate. Not good….

    • Wow, that's unexpected and really awesome of you to do. Definitely getting an + vote on the deal from me now :).

      Understand the issues were out of CR's control - it's not your fault PH's systems couldn't handle the number of orders so I definitely don't blame you at all for the troubles.

    • That email was a reminder for me to check my PayPal dispute case, haven't approved but will remember to flag it now, thanks for the reminder and credit 😊

    • thanks TA / cashrewards that's more than fair especially when it appeared to be a PH issue, hopefully they fix the problem so it doesn't happen again, some IT person is probably in the shit for what happened

    • Thanks TA, part of the problem is order did track but never received the order. PH never received the order. So what to do if the order is tracked but never received, still get a $10 bonus?

          TA, what happens to the multiple charges that went through….is there a way to resolve that in your discussion with Pizza hut. I am not sure if it was in the scope for your discussion but there are few here whose purchases has been tracked but they have been charged multiple times for same order. thanks

  • Don't believe I"ll be participating in this again. The 2 hour wait was not worth the $10 cashback.

    • I also had 2 hours wait but seems like the issue was an isolated incident, didn't happen in any of the previous CR x PH deals.

    Anyone got a refund from Pizza Hut yet? Still no response on Paypal

    • The same, nothing. They did give a case number, and it looked like they were on top of it, but reality has been different.

      • I queried the refund process with pizza hut via facebook messaging and they refunded it after a few hours, thanks for reminder, if you are still waiting you may want to get in touch with Pizza hut to try and resolve the problem.

    • Yeah I got a refund, once they said refund being done it took about 5 business days to refund, payed with a mastercard.
