Think this belongs on OzCheapJunk instead?

    • +2

Yeah I just thought some people might find it useful. Won't be a popular deal

    • +3

It's junk until you are somewhere unfamiliar, late at night, in a rush and your battery is on 10%

Then it's a cheap, convenient, ass-saving recharge. Officeworks is also good for that

      • +2

Those power banks are useless, there's only about 1200-1500mah of usable power and not to mention they are slooooooow

        • I also suspect that they may not hold their power forever.
If so, relying on them like a copper top in your glove box wouldn’t be as convenient as first thought.

            @FredAstair:

            in your glove box

Don't ever keep lithium-ion batteries in your glove box. Lithium-ion batteries are typically only rated to 55 degrees, inside parked cars it's hotter than that.

meanwhile people post a quality item and there’s comments they could get 10 crappy ones for that price

  • +3

overpriced and prob using the cheapest materials you can find

    • +3

Yeah probably. Not sure about warranty either

      • +3

I think most people will not bother for $10 if it fails after a few months.

        • A quick email about warranty things never hurt. But as to chasing it further… yeah nah.

      • 1 year warranty

    Not good…

    Life is suffering…

      For those that purchase?

  • Not too good of a deal considering you can get quoted 10-20KmAh power banks off AliExpress for this price, thanks for posting anyway OP.

      Np :(

    • First time I've ever seen anyone add a K to mAh like that!

      10-20 Ah would suffice :)

      • It's a quick powerbank. And lol I wouldn't trust any no name battery bank from AliExpress

Nice, I can charge 10% of my iPhone 13

    • Weird flex but okay

  • Quality would be on par with what you get from Kmart ANKO branded products I reckon.

  • Most new phones have quick charge, and even buying a QC charger is better environmentally than buying a throwaway battery like this, which is really not great for the environment.

    • so don’t throw it away? i’d trust a cheap power bank more than a cheap charger to not kill my phone (or me)

  • They also have the $10 bluetooth earphones lets not forget, yes they're the dated design, but $10 is $10

  • Shame it's not a promo product with 7/11 branding and/or colours.

  • For convenience this isn’t a terrible price. The cheapest at Kmart is 5000 mAh for $14.50 and Woolworths is 2500 mAh for $15.95

    • Not particularly bad, but is it good enough to warrant a post as a deal? I did contemplate buying one of the speakers the other day to use for a work task but figured the range wouldn’t be good enough.
