Great that it is long term but of course they will probably pull it before then. Thanks OP

  • Good job Tyken.

  • Says code is invalid…

  • Worked for me a few minutes ago.

  • How was the show, compared to previous ones? Thanks

    • +1

I haven’t been the the previous ones. I can only comment on this one and can say that it was worth it. All the vendors let you sample 3-4 products. I noticed that there were a lot of spirit vendors, more gin than any other spirit.

There was actually less emphasis on ‘food’ than ‘wine/spirit’.

Code worked for me. Now just hope I don't have to push too hard to get the place booked to honour the discount on the food bill.

    • How does this work? You book via the website/app then pay in the restaurant? And then at the time of paying redeem points?

      • +6

You book via website/app and dine and pay full price. You get 1000 yums. Next time you book at selected restaurants that accept yums you can select to use the yums you have (up to 2000 per booking) for that booking whilst making it. Then turn up to this booking and get the discount.

Thanks for the helpful answer. Much appreciated.

@sydboy Just fyi the discount wouldn't be on the booking with the above code. It would be the next booking you make where you opt to use your yums

  • If you have a stack of yums from a previous promotion can you make booking, pay with yums and still get the bonus 1000 yums?

    • I don’t think so. You can’t get Yums when booking using a promotion.

      • Correct. Cant enter any code when redeeming yums

        • +2

YMMV, but I have personally redeemed yums (2000 yums for $50 discount) as well as earned bonus yums for the same booking. This only works for me if I book using the website, not the app.

Are there many restaurants of worth that accept this imaginary money? Seems very convoluted

    • +2

‘Worth’ is highly subjective, however, $20 (1000 yums) - $50 (2000 yums) worth of food using ‘imaginary money’ is pretty sweet.

Hunter & Barrel in Eastland is pretty good.

Seems to be a much better selection overseas, where The Fork (Dimmi) is more established.

For info, 2000 Yums is worth the following in Europe/UK.

      50 GBP (~$A88)
      50 EUR (~$A76)
      500 SEK (~A$71)
      35 CHF (~$A52)

compared to $A50 in Australia of course. Find a relatively inexpensive country using the Euro, and these Yums go further than at home in my experience. Of course, the airfare is a killer lol

      • So you can use this app overseas?

        • Yes, not every country is on board though. I redeemed Yums at some pretty decent restaurants in Spain and Italy, and elsewhere there were often 20% or even 50% discounts on the final bill for booking a table earlier in the night.

PS: After doing a bit more digging, some of my figures above seem to vary eg. some restaurants it is 25 Euros = 2000 Yums.

    • Think of it as Food Bitcoin.

    new code WINTER
    also same, 1000 yums

worth a post in its own right so that the coupon is added to the list when you search for the fork

Just tried the code - it comes up that it has been used before.

    • Did you use it back around 26/06/2022 when you first commented?

  • Error while using code - “this loyalty code has already been used”

    • Did you use it back in June when it was first posted?

      • Yes but I was under the impression, or I had read somewhere, that it could be used multiple times?

      • I didn’t - says code no longer valid

  • Worked for me just now
