Is this a deal or an advert?

    • +1

It is clearly a deal. It could still be an advert, but its also a deal.

    • both?

    • Don't know what it is but definitely not a deal if it involves circles. Even fro free to expensive.

    • Hey OP - Fantastic Find.
circles say its their best deal usually reserved for special clients.
money back guarantee if not satisfied within 30 days
      powered by optus
      Deal Ends 30/6/22.

      • It's not a find, OP clearly works for Circles.

I've been on Cirlces for around 6 months, paying $8 a month for 48gb. No complaints so far except that I don't seem to be able to get VoLTE for some reason.

    • -1

Your deal is heaps better then this Advert

      • How is this post not a deal?

        • Because $8 a month for 48gb is cheaper…

      • Yeah it's a great deal! I haven't seen anything close to it since I signed up.

    • Yeah I'm on the same deal, I'm about to jump ship to kogan before end of July though

    • No complaints so far except that I don't seem to be able to get VoLTE for some reason.

Are you certain that your handset supports VoLTE (and VoWiFi) on the Optus network? If so, I'd contact support and get them to enable it on your account.

I activated my first ever Circles.Life service this morning. VoLTE appeared immediately and VoWiFi appeared within an hour or so.

Will Volte and VoWifi work on this plan?

      • +1

        Yes

    • Is data rollover included?

      • No

    • Great deal at this point in time!

  • Does the referral credit work too or not?

    • You cannot use the referral credit in conjunction with this deal.

  • +1

Shhhhh it… what a great deal

  • Telstra or Optus network?

    • Optus network.

      • damn

  • https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/706155 works out to be $12.5/42Gb per month for 12 months. And you don't need to endure the wait when porting out.

    • No VoLte and VoWifi on kogan makes this a better deal. Although I dont like circles.life for obvious reasons

      • What's the obvious reasons?

        • +1

          Credit check
30 days notice to port out
          Just few

  • I'll stick it out with optus. They had a free 6 month netflix (but given as a credit) as well as free amazon for 12 months. Maybe they'll have some other offers in the future.

Bit sad optus sports is gone now.

Do you offer roaming? I just want to receive SMS while overseas. at least VoLTE/VoWifi roaming would be enough.

Currently with Boost. they wouldn't connect to any foreign network. However, in January when I was in the US they supported both VoLTE/VoWifi when I'm connected to wifi or through the second SIM data.
I was told by a friend currently overseas that their service suddenly stopped working a few weeks ago and upon contacting boost was told that they don't support VoLTE/VoWifi while outside of Australia anymore.

    • That's true. As per Boost website, they will bring International Roaming late 2022/early 23.

  • As Rather Be Travelling has pointed out in previous Circles.Life deals, it's best (read: cheapest) to activate / port in on the last day of the month, so as to minimise the pro-rated amount charged for the first month, which is based on the non-discounted monthly amount. eg; If you order this deal and get the SIM in time to activate on 30/6/22, then it's 1/30 x $25 = $0.83. If you activate it on 1/7/22, then it's 31/31 x $25 = $25. If you ordered today, but didn't activate on 30/6/22, then the next cheapest option would be to wait the maximum 30 days, and activate on 28/7/22. The pro-rated amount would then be 4/31 x $25 = $3.23.

  • Would this stack with the $10 monthly referral credit for 12 months ?

    • No you can't stack it unfortunately.

  • Kogan deal is better imo. $150 for 500gb 12 months.

Comes down to $12.5/month 41gb allocated

    • +1

      yeah but Kogan

      • I thought the OzB hate wagon was towards circles.

Frankly don't care been bouncing between these two for the last 4 or so years. Never had to call for any issues and churning happened within days if not overnight

    • +1

Except as its 12 months it is like a contract, with Circles you are free to leave at any time. Also Kogan is the on the Vodafone network while Circles is Optus network.

      • +1

Yeah I'm currently on your $8 48gb plan. Circles has a track record of not providing good deals for existing customers.

As you pointed out, it's nice circles isn't a locked contract because I'm about to jump ship lol

  • What happens when the 30GB is exhausted?
Does data continue at a throttled rate or can an add-on pack be easily purchased?

    • +1

Via our Circles app you are able to switch plans instantly or buy data add ons.

G'day mate! I appreciate your interest in Circles.Life! When you run out of data, don't worry about it! If you want to stay connected, you can:

Upgrade your plan - if you are on the 5GB, 30GB, 100GB or any of our old plans. Our biggest plan is a whopping 160GB for just $55/mth!
Add a 3GB for $10 Data Boost - This is a one-off purchase that expires at the end of the month. You can add Data Boosts as many times as you like.
Do nothing - Once you run out of your plan allocation, data will be charged at pay-as-you-go-rates of $0.01/MB

  • Is eSIM supported?

    • Hey there mate! At this moment, we still don't have eSim services. Its something that our team is working on getting with the help of our partner Optus. • Do I need to undergo a credit check if I've been a Circles customer in the past?

    • Hi there! Yes but not to worry, this is part of our process when applying for a line. We'd love to give you more infromation about this so please click this link for more information: https://circlesaustraliasupport.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/article…

      • What? Checking to see if a customer can afford $12/month?

There are much more expensive plans by other telcos with no credit check

  • Am I eligible if I was a customer 3 years ago, but haven't been since?

    • Good day, mate! Definitely yes! This promo is available to new signups only. So, you're all good! Sign up soon while this offer is available!

  • Beware this company when you try to port out. Every other telco and mvno use a "numeric" number as the account number. But Circle add "LW" in the prefix of the account number. (They must have lost the memo - its a NUMERIC account number NOT alphanumeric) .It make is so difficult for other telco to initiate a port - port will failed. I had to stay with them for another month of sh1t data speed because of this problem. I have since port out but still get email from them. I heard of comments in whirlpool they still bill you even thou you have port out. Buyer BEWARE!!

    • Hello mate! We appreciate your feedback and understand where you are coming from but please be noted that all customers will be advised to use a complete Circles.Life account number including 'LW' for us to release the mobile number. Please also be reminded that we don't have a lock-in contract. You have a free will to port out anytime and as we don't like messy breakups, so we're keeping it simple for you. Rest assured as well that all necessary disputes will be resolved. Cheers!

was going to pull the trigger on this then saw the reviews for this company. They are incredibly negative. https://www.productreview.com.au/listings/circleslife Will be giving it a hard pass.

  • +1

Hi I am the Country Manager of Australia and are happy to personally support you and provide my details if you would like to give us a go.

    • +1

Remove the credit check requirements and fasten up the port out process and we might consider. No one trying out a sim, wants a credit check left on their file. If they were signing up to a contract of 12 months or something then the credit check could be acceptable.

  • Circles on Facebook gave me the wrong information and my plan went back to the rip off price of $28/20gb from today, instead of August like they said!

  • Why does this say expired when I signed up to it last night for 12 months at $12 for 30gb??

    • The T&C's say that it was only valid until 23:59:59 on 30/6/22 and you may well find that you don't get the discount, even though you were able to sign up after then. I recall reading something similar in previous Circles.Life deals.

      • The email I received as confirmation definitely states $12 a month with 30gb for 12 months. This deal may need to be made active and extended again? Maybe they have new terms and conditions?

        • I no longer trust anything they state. I signed up for a different deal last month (https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/708588) and all indications (T&C's, confirmation email, zillions of comments on OzBargain, and even the e-mail that the first invoice was attached to) were that the charge for the first month would be pro-rated on the non-discounted price, with no waiver applied. And then I get the first invoice, and it has a pro-rated waiver applied!

  • Failed a credit check………..got approved ANZ black just a few weeks ago.

Is there a different credit check for credit cards v other products?

  • Hi just a quick word that even though expiry was 30/06 they are still accepting the deal when it’s accessed through the circles.life/au/shhhh link. This was confirmed in comments on their instagram post within the last week as well.
