[VIC] Melbourne Football Club Membership (GA) $13

310

I got an email about this offer. Not as good as last year's deal where 4 game membership was available for free, but pretty damn good for 2 x games at the MCG vs "quality" opponents in Collingwood and Carlton (and priority access to buy finals tickets other than the Granny).

Description from the website:

To celebrate Clarry's exciting new deal, we're offering $13 memberships for 13 hours so you can sign with him! Get access to our final two blockbuster games against Collingwood and Carlton, as well as priority access to purchase tickets for weeks 1-3 of finals.

Package Benefits

General admission access for our remaining home games at the MCG

Priority access to purchase a ticket in weeks 1-3 of finals in which Melbourne participates

10% off full priced purchases in-store and online at the Demon Shop

Access to exclusive offers from club partners

Free entry to Casey Demons VFL and VFLW home games

Club Voting Rights (if over 18)

  • The would need to pay ME more than $13 to sign up for this!

If you were planning to buy a Jaguar, this would get you complimentary 5 year Corporate service plan, 5 year extended warranty and reduced Dealer Delivery (model dependent), surely that would have to get you across the line.

I read that title as pay $13 to get 13 hours of membership.. was thinking is there some perk I can use for 13 hours to make it worth $13.

    • Updated the title for clarity

All the Melbourne supporters are at the snow fields. Can't get anyone to the games.

Bruh, that is an old joke.

Find some new material. I won't neg you this time 😂

      • -1

It's not a joke. There's hardly anyone at their matches at the moment.

      • +3

That joke will never ever get old.

        Funny as, upvoted

  • Pretty good deal for a Pies fan such as myself. Basically half price general admin for the Pies Dees game plus if they both play each other in the first 3 weeks of finals, you get priority access to tickets. Watching Dees Blues as a neutral would be alright too.

    • I dont have a gf guarantee because most of the expensive memberships were sold out for the dees. (funny that right because no one ever turns up).

Do the public ever have access to GF tickets? Not saying we will make it but I was always curious.

Usually the only way the general public can access GF tickets (without being a member of a club / AFL / MCC or winning a competition) is if they buy an expensive corporate hospitality package which includes a ticket and some kind of fancy sit down lunch and drinks function. The only exception would be if 2 clubs, most likely interstate clubs, with low member numbers make the GF. Then public tickets may be released.

      • Further to Melbourne guy’s comment, the other way would be to find a competing club member that’s not going to use their ticket. Either buy the ticket off them or use their barcode. It happened a lot in the last 2 years because the GF was in Perth and Brisbane but there’s no reason the same can’t happen in Melbourne.

        • Or pray to your deity there's a draw and the match needs to be replayed. The GF is for corporate bozos

@AngryAlfred: They got rid of the replays unfortunately after the 2010 one. Extra Time is played now.

pity every-club doesn't do this deal today! I'd buy a Carlton one in the hope a final may be in Sydney!

  • Page not found. When clicking the deal link?

  • Paid and got a receipt, how does does accessing tickets work?

Need to download the Melbourne Demons App

I just called up the membership team and signed up. Not available online any longer

  • But a great way of adding 'members' to the tally - lol

Especially of they get involved and renew next year
