        Do you mean you've stacked with a PS4 + 5? I think I better start with a PS5 as if it doesn't work I'll potentially only get 3 months.

          The description says the ps5 deal will stack (I.e. existing users eligible), but ps4 is new subs only. So I doubt ps5 > ps4 will stack, but other way around MIGHT work. I’ve not tried it though.

        Not sure, but it definitely stacks with other offers on the PS5. Just got an iPad with 3 months free, so finally activated the 6 months that came with my PS5, and now have free Apple TV til March 2023, but what to watch?

        Honestly, there's not a lot of content on there. I find Amazon Prime to be better in terms of content (and value).

          Ted Lasso is IMHO the best show on there. Not a fan of soccer but it was a very funny and at times emotional show.

          Also found the 9/11 documentary quite interesting where they interviewed George W Bush and quite a few others involved on the day about what happened and what went on.

          Watched the Bruce Springsteen making of the Letter to You record documentary on the weekend. Found it quite good but i love most of Bruce's music.

          There are a few other shows that i wouldn't mind checking out but have been watching other stuff on other platforms.

      These are all highly rated shows. Apple TV may not have the library size of others but the quality of their original content so far has been very impressive. I’m sure there’s other shows i haven’t watched that people will say are very good also.

    I've already used my 6 months but just to jump in on my favourite shows from the service:

    Severance
    Mythic Quest
    After Party
    Ted Lasso (although a bit overrated these days)

        Yeah I found the appeal of Ted Lasso was lost on me in Season 2 as well. I pushed through it but wasn't a big fan

          Yeah loved the first season, but then the direction they took the character Nate just flew against previous feel of the show and almost lost me.
          I'll finish up my current month with severance and jump back on Apple tv+ when Ted's back for s3 to see if it turns for the better.

    Just signed up, looked through the catalogue and everything is either paid or rent. Lucky I used a dud debit card, anyone, who pays for is throwing money away. What a joke. I like the platform the way it visualises movies and tv shows, but I already have Netflix and Disney+. So it's obsolete.

      Definitely not obsolete. Need some time to understand the app. I agree that it doesn't have as much content as Netflix or Disney+ but there's some quality on Apple TV+ for sure.

        This drives me nuts about the app, it's uncharacteristic for Apple to be this messy. I can only gather it's intentional to mix all of the paid options deeply within and over the items included in Apple TV+ subscription. The app on all platforms is the same like this.

            @Daff: Exactly, but there is a "free for me" toggle to remove the paid for stuff. What really shits me is the fact you can't see the price on the Google TV app and have to pay for anything via a web browser. This is to get around the Google tax.

        I am not paying a monthly subscription to watch 4 maybe decent shows and be done with it. It's pitiful that they flood it with paid movies and tv shows to make it seem like good value, you should be able to turn every single paid option off and see what type of platform it really is.

    Keeps asking me to update my payment settings when I click 6 month free trial in the PS5 app. I did update it to a valid card as i havent used apple since 2013 before signing in. Do you guys know if this takes a while in their system or something?

      Had this as well, waited a couple of mins and tried from the top again, using the code to log in through the activation site and it will ask for a the code on the back on your card

    Or just cancel immediately. The subscription will still remain current until it expires in 6 months and won't renew. A message comes up confirming this and it is still working after cancellation.

    Finally bothered to do this on both the 4 and 5, not that I'll ever use AppleTV tbh…still works perfectly fine despite the listed expiration date for anyone who was wondering
