The title doesn't match the web site:

Minimum purity .999 Weight: 31.1 grams. It may be bars/coins/ it may have some scratches/toning and/or small dings
Generic range of silver bars will vary according to stock availability all are quality tested buybacks.

You're getting a random selection of silver products, not Kangaroo coins.

You should take a lesson in customer service.

Starting with "mate" isn't very professional.

    Is this a BARGAIN?

    • It's a bit better than the competition.

      https://bullionnow.com.au/product-category/silver/

There you can buy new coins for around $38, versus a random selection of 1oz products with possible scratches for $35.

Nope, if you want silver go second hand.

      • +2

        er - these are secondhand

Spot silver is about $A29.20 per ounce - at $35 not what I would call a bargain.
Wait until Monday and buy from the Perth Mint for about $31.

        Link?

      • +1

$31? really? am finding that hard to believe

      • Spot silver is for an industrial 5000ozt bar, in New York, if you're a qualified buyer. OP is offering 1ozt, minted coins, delivered to your door.

        • think idea of coins is that it's a known weight and purity so if you need to sell $1000 worth, you have a good idea about how many coins vs 5000 oz bar "think I will cut it about here" ….scratches on coins ….. I think it's about weight and accuracy of purity rather than people collecting them for a hobby unlike stamps ….. ahh remember Australian silver florins mixed in with 50c pieces in Australia when I was a kid because Australia moved to decimal currency and 50c was round and same size.

      • Hey Ocker,
Can you link these Perth .into coins you say are $31? Yet to find them.

        • Not quite - but rather than buying damaged "coins" that have no numismatic value, only bullion value.
If one wants to invest in silver then buy a certified 1kg bar from the Perth Mint for $32.30 an ounce

Mate, this is OZSILVERKINDOFASDESCRIBEDINTITLE, not OZBARGAIN, if you want a bargrain, there's probably better sites around for that.

    Nice.. Usually buying for 42$+

  • Its $351 buy for a 10 ounce bar from abc.

    • +1

so about same price as these coins at $35 each?

    • +1

Always better to have coins if theyre around the same price.

  • What do people do with these? Is silver an investment or something?

    • +1

Bury in a chest on an island.

primarily an industrial metal, however the gold to silver ratio is way out of whack, which to many suggests silver is currently very undervalued, and thus theres supposedly good investment potential. On the other hand, doubters will say the price is and continues to be manipulated downwards, and good luck ever benefiting from holding it. A lot of silver stackers are waiting for the collapse of fiat currency so their stack survives into whatever the new currency will be in a much better position.
