    Intel Core i3 1200F

Where'd you get your hands on this decade old tech?

    • -2

      China

      • +1

More like russia, remember its the current gen stuff thats coming out of china

    • I don't see the problem.

    • +1

      All fixed thanks!

  • +2

Any chance of a similar deal with a 3060?

  • +2

Any chance of a high end PC with no GPU? I believe there will be a lot of people transitioning from 8th-9th Gen era like myself who recently bought a 30xx GPU that are now bottlenecking due to CPU.

    • General consensus atm points towards the GPU as a important part of a shops profit, given how often people have asked about a GPU-less systems and received no reply.
I'd recommend people in our positions build our own as im now doing.

      • I should rephrase that as a lower tier GPU we can just put in the old build and on-sell that. Would actually make the transition much cleaner.

  • +1

Would love & purchase instantly a similarly priced 12100f & 3060 build. Any plans for this?

    • +2

Yeah, definitely on this train too, a great 12100/12400 deal with a somewhat similar price (like BPC Tech deal did) with a 3060 would be super tempting

    • +1

Popular demand is a good indicator for us. We can look into a 3060 pairing with this cpu for a future deal.

      • +1

Any chance of something soon-ish? Even an upgrade option on this deal would be super tempting

  • This or an XBOX series X for gaming?

    • -3

      Sega Saturn

    • +1

      XBox ofc

      • +1

        KFC zinger box

        • +1

          Halal snack pack

    • +1

I'm usually all for PC, but at this price point you're probably better off getting an xbox if it's purely for gaming.

  • +5

Looking for a gaming PC with a plain, utilitarian case, rather than a hideous gaming case

    • +8

Performance drops by almost 20% if you don't have RGB

      • +3

        But Dignity increases by 2000%

    • +1

Yup I am the same. Got a Corsair Carbide Series 275R, a bit pricey at 120 ish most places but not a shred of RGB or any of that fake gamer vibe.

  • does the coupon code work with the 12400F upgrade. It was throwing an error for me

    • Should work either way. What error are you getting?

      • Warning: Coupon is either invalid, expired or reached its usage limit!

        • Just tested out the code and is working normally. Maybe try again with a different browser?

  • Will TechFast consider adding a cheaper cooling upgrade option? Perhaps a tower air cooler like a Vetroo V5 or Gammaxx 400? Benchmarks show that a stock cooler for a 12400F (which you can upgrade to in this deal) isn't enough to prevent thermal throttling and paying $100 for a 120mm AiO seems a bit much. I guess that's where the margin is?

    • Honestly trying to squeeze out that performance from this or similar rig is just a bigger money pit potentially. Is the performance increase going to be meaningful for it? Jumping to a mid tier might be better tbh.

    • Luke said before that they don’t do better air coolers as due to shipping they often end up damaged on arrival

  • Link doesn't work any more, is this expired?

    • Yeah the link is dead. Reported as expired but mods deemed it was still active.

  • Just curious has anyone received their order yet? Particular those with i5 option.
