Killer deal, bought this for $50 from JB last year. For this price it is a great buy, I used it through lockdown WFH and twitch streams/discord and hasn't let me down for a plug n play mic with decent quality.

      I have a yeti mic and it's good for what it does(twitch streaming and interviews). However, still bought this as the yeti is kinda bulky and I need one for work. Can't say how much of a gap in quality this will be compared to the yeti, but hopefully, not too much.

    If the blue yeti is out of your budget (tbh I'd recommend looking for 2nd hand), I definitely recommend this samson meteor, it also packs nicely so you can bring it around between work and home.

      Blue Yeti is so overhyped and is outperformed by chinese no-name brands at a third of the price nowadays, its a 13yo microphone (not that thats a bad thing per-say, the Audio Technica AT2020 is about the same age and its still great, but thats more of an exception than a rule). Its a relic of the beginning of the streaming craze that was very well marketed and took advantage of being one of the few players targeting the newly encapsulated market.         Agree blue yeti is over hyped. I recently got a Samson G-Track Pro for about $120 on amazon and it's better than yeti. I've got a fifine ampligame coming in transit. for about half the cost of the G-track. Can't wait to compare.

    I didn't realise people were having issues until saw something in a different thread.

    Just wanted to report back I got my order from Amazon the next day..no issues..been preforming perfectly (i was having mic issues with my work calls…not anymore).

    I think those that got order cancelled probably got unlucky because stock ran out.
