        6 months in and the pre-installed screen protector has lifted on the fold. Just had the screen protector replaced under warranty, but apparently they only do it once.

          Where did you go to get the screen protector replaced? I made an appointment at samsung and they wanted to send the phone away to replace the screen protector.

        That's the $500 trade-in promotion on the 4th July which they marked this phone as $1099. BTW, I just give them a call and they refund $100 back to me.

    100$ extra for the 256gb, it's worth it for putting more stuff (for me it's the flac)

    Ive been using my zflip3 for about 6 months now so far I'm quite happy with performance and have learn to adapt my life for it. Battery is just alright

    Only issue I've had for the folding mechanism causing issue to camera flip mode and had it fixed under warranty after sending it in 3 times.

      Probably just the screen protector. Mine did the same and I could take it for a free replacement (once within 12 months).
      But I just gently took it off yesterday as the crack was annoying. Works great without it and no longer any annoying mini-gap of crude between the protector and bezel.

          I called Samsung a few months back and they only referred me to Samsung stores. They'd need the phone for like 7 days … So I didn't bother.
          But some comments I'm reading are saying they took it elsewhere, so I don't know.

    Is this similar to the Samsung Trade up system where you can still keep your old phone and get the $500 discount but they will charge you the value of the old phone if you don't post it to them?

      In their Q&A under "How do I get my Bonus Coupon during the promotional period?" states "Trade-in orders that are cancelled, may also mean coupon cancellation."
      Not sure if I'd risk it unless someone can vouch otherwise.

        I've used Squade trade in before when I bought my s22 and didn't send my device in (ipad). Didn't get charged the bonus $450 coupon.

        You WON'T get charged the bonus coupon amount if you don't send the device in. You will get charged for the trade in coupon amount ONLY if you've used it.

        What I did was use the $450 bonus coupon only and not the trade in coupon. After the due date to send the device past I got an email saying since I haven't sent the device in and haven't used the trade in coupon, the trade in order is now cancelled and the trade in coupon is now cancelled. When I did my trade in, NO WHERE in the T&Cs did it say you will get charged the bonus coupon amount. Although it did say you will get charged the trade in value if you don't send the device in. I wanted to double check the T&Cs now just in case it's different this time around but the square trade in site is closed.

        "Trade-in orders that are cancelled, may also mean coupon cancellation" means that the ACTUAL bonus coupon will be cancelled if you haven't used it yet. So better use it while it's valid.

          Price match policy. JB HiFi does price match when their own advertised price drop in a week time. It's really an easy conversation with the lady on the other side of the line. She jus asked the order number then refund straightway.

    Very interesting website/idea.

    Tried with nokia 3310, obviously doesn't exist in the menus.
    Tried with iphone x, but not accepted due if phone has battery issue (ours I believe has battery swelling as screen lifting from body but still works).
    Tried with surface pro 4 which they bothered to have in the menu options but no condition questions just straight to "YOUR DEVICE TRADE-IN VALUE $0.00 Unfortunately, this device has no reuse value."

      I ordered Flip case from eBay for $13.99 and a 'Carbon fibre' case from Aliexpress for $22. I used the carbon fibre case for my S10 which is pretty good apart from getting hot easily.

    $499 is a pretty good price as it is. Square trade in or JB won't charge you the bonus coupon amount if you don't send your device in. You only get charged for the trade in value amount only if you use the trade-in coupon.
