Seems like a solid price for a 3050ti. I’m far from an expert on this though…

Note the colour gamut on this model spec is 62% sRGB and not the higher quality version.

  • Can price beat at Officeworks if they have stock, they sell the exact same laptop down to the same model number

I feel like we've seen a handful of 3060 Laptops around this price recently.

Can we not post 3050ti it's trash

Why what’s wrong with it? Given it’s a budget card but imo it’s fair point with the price.

the difference in performance from a 3050ti to 3060 is pretty big, 3060 to 3070 not so much. 3050ti is viewed as a waste of money from most, esp when there are 3060 models going for 1100-1200 on the reg

Yeah ROG strix is for gaming, these cards are like hey you have a gaming laptop but can't really play games. Don't go below a 3060

        • Thanks for the details but I didn’t neg you btw😬

There should be 3050 Ti posts if at the right price. I’d say about $1k. At around $1.5k I’d expect a 3060

  • Had two G15's of earlier versions (the zephyrus). Colleague dropped one on its side (fell out of bag) and it died instantly, second one had motherboard failure sitting on a desk and just pushed up the daisies without warning. Great machines when they're working but had two units (one our fault) kaput at 15 months. Build quality is a little meh for me, i expected something a little more robust. Luckily managed to use one as a donor for the other one so at least we have one working unit again. Just a caution to read reviews before jumping in here.

If you don't mind 10th Gen, here's an RTX3060 laptop for $1569 - It's almost the same specs, but this one has presumably a slightly weaker CPU and weighs a kilo less.

  • At this price point, it would be silly to not get something with a 3060 in it.

  • 3050ti should not be more than 1.2k

  • I have ordered it, before that I purchased Gigabyte KD which was 1.5k, but it had too much screen bleeding. Although, had i5 11th gen and 3060. I couldn't find any other in this price range for long term. Acer nitro 5 got temperature issues, and it's ugly too. Dell g15 doesn't have extra slot for another ssd. :v

If it was a 3060, it would be a decent deal. There have been cheaper 3060 deals.
