I’ve lost track. What are good prices per AA and AAA on these.

Also what’s the price of the ikea ones?

    • +4

Ikea pricing is the same but I'm waiting for them to be half price again. That's where the real value is.

    • ikea one is the standard eneloop right? not the pro correct?

  • should I wait till the 14% cashback & risk missing out or buy now?

    • +2

Buy now, buy again. Cancel later

this is the conundrum of life. live your own life, knowing that you're making your own decision.

S&S price is better than TGGC for non-pros.

  • I just bought one last week

But that’s like soooo last week let’s start fresh

I'm still catching up on the Eneloop craze… Deal or no deal? Haha

    • Cant say, there are some who seem to get angry if i point out past prices.

      • The price is good, competitive, if you stacked it with the upsized cashback it would have been even better.

It doesn't have to be the lowest ever price to be a good deal.

I never said it wasn't a good deal. I even voted positive. Someone asked what the deal was like. And I mentioned there have been cheaper prices. And some people seem to take offence of that. Fact is alot of people think just because it's prime day that every deal is the cheapest ever. And that's not always the case.and it's important to point that out too so people don't necessarily have to feel like they have to buy it right now if they don't need it they can wait for the next deal to come by in the next few months.

A lot of the deals posted during this prime sale are just standard Amazon discounted prices that happens every couple of months. Sure some were extra special deals but they can sometimes get lost in the myriad of deals being posted. I definitely found some interesting items to buy.

But also sadly there hasn't been as amazing as the first couple of prime sales when. .au came about. But I guess that's to be expected.

Btw if you stack it with the upsized cashback then you can't use the S&s price which is upfront 10%off which is better than a possible 14% off months later. So I wouldn't recommend having used the cashback over the s&s

          • @lonewolf: Cashback is valid on the first delivery when you S&S, even if you subscribed to same item before and cancelled it.

This year's Prime Day deals have been lackluster for me too.

            • @Hiphopopotamus: S&Shas always been excluded from cashback in the past. When did this change? The reps for the cashback sites used to always state that it was excluded as it wasn't counted as a normal order / purchase. At least in the past that's what I was told. If I had known I would have purchased s&s orders with the upsized cashback. I specifically ordered them separately as I thought they weren't included.

I still remember getting amazing prices on protein powders and Xbox one etc back then.

              • @lonewolf: This is from todays CR upsized cashback deal: Cashback is ineligible on purchase of vouchers, gift cards, kindle unlimited, audible, mobile apps, recurring subscribe & save items (first order only is eligible), Amazon Prime subscriptions & renewals.

I feel like this has been the case for a long time, maybe it wasn't when S&S was first introduced? I'm not sure.

                • -1

@Hiphopopotamus: I dont think it was the case when it was first introduced, because i remember at the time a lot of the deals posted, people always put in the disclaimer that it was your choice to either use cashback or S&S as both didnt apply. Unless we all misunderstood the reps when we used to ask them about it.

I am talking a couple of years ago or earlier, I never really asked reps about it and i never saw others mention it last couple of years and i assumed it was still what we were initially told.

Damn, There were a few things i definitely would have bought with the upsized cashback but i thought it wouldnt go through so i bought them separately and used the cashback for items that didnt have S&S.

What abt a good smart charger, any on sale??

  • Looking up ozbargain, they have been cheaper before.

  • Do I need the accompanying Pro charger to charge the Pro models or is the normal charger ok?

    • Normal charger is fine 👍

  • If ikea ladda batteries are the same (apparently they are meant to be), the ikea batteries are still cheaper
