  • 371 vs 361?

K371 has better timbre, better sub-bass kick, better tonal balance for a closed back, better accessories, better build quality. It's everything the ATH-M50X should have been, though that has a sturdier build.

Some people like the K361, but it just sounds too thin to me in comparison. Neither are great technically in the treble, but at least the K371 is smoother.

Cheers. About to pick it up for around $126 with cashback + GC cashback. Seems like an all-time low for these cans, can't wait :)

I still have my R70x's but want something good for public usage, plane travel, etc. I'll probably grab a hard case since I hear these can be fragile.

    Just got mine today.

They sound pretty good. Will have to get used to a more neutral sound though coming from bright speakers and V-shaped IEMs. They sound pretty lax though and nothing really jumps out at me (I mean that in a good way).

They work for me with glasses despite a few reviews that say that they lose the seal. The earcups and headband feel nice, though I haven't tried wearing for extended periods of time.

Build quality is alright, considering they're studio headphones and foldable. Definitely need to be treated with care though, I wouldn't even throw them onto a couch without at least wincing.

Very good for the price, just not the most robust design but I guess that's a tradeoff of foldable headphones.

    • On the plus side, the headband padding is silicon, so you can get some usage out of these at the gym if you're comfortable with the fit.

Harman neutral still is a little v-shaped, but these keep things under control in the upper mids and warm the bass ever so gently compared to that. Enjoy!
