    I have heard ok things about the kmart mat, but for most home carpets with underlay, you need a top quality mat and they are expensive $200 up. Expect anything else to crack and break up within 12 months on carpet. That said buying a new cheap mat every 6-12 months will work, but probably wont protect your carpet as well.

    Looks a lot like the mats I bought at Costco ages ago (8 years?). One is wearing out now, but I suspect these ones are not quite as thick or if I could be bothered measuring as large as the Costco ones weight heaps.
    The listing is funny, $34.99 (save 56%) then the next option is buy it at the regular price of $49.99. Whoops. I dont think thats a $45 saving.
    Even so I might grab one to replace one of the cheap officeworks mats (pretty much the same as the kmart mat).

      Yes, the Costco one was heavy and not too flexible (with the spikes) so still quite large even when rolled up. I wonder how they pack this one for delivery.

    This price is higher than I can see in ebay or kmart. Even more expensive than the one I'm using.
