AnyCubic Resin 3D Printer: Mono 2K $150 (Was $255) Delivered @ AnyCubic eBay

90

Just saw this on the AnyCubic eBay store - it sounded a bit odd, but I was then chatting with one of their reps.
Seems AnyCubic is clearing out their Resin Photon Mono 2K printers!

$150 sounds like a good deal to me - I ordered two (for prototyping).

It is for:
Photon Mono 2K
$150 including delivery (was $255)
Print volume: 165 x 130 x 80 mm (HxWxD)

I understand it to work with all standard 405nm resins, both AnyCubic and by other manufacturers - obvious, but I checked anyway.

I thought I share.

  • Nice find OP!

    • Thanks - I was looking for a smaller (and lower cost) printer to knock out some do-not-need-fine-detail models without blocking my 4K and 6K.
This seemed like a good deal for that.

Anyone got a link to a "3d printing for dummies" type page? I can think of a few things I'd like to try out. Know nothing about 3d printing but no issues with design software etc. Would this be a good one to start with?

    • Resin printers are a bit more fiddly to manage as far as smell, cleaning and curing etc but really depends on what you’re wanting to print size wise as to whether a resin or regular FDM would be more suited to you.

  • I wish I had the spare cash for this, but Prime day has already stolen my spare funds!

I also, would recommend FDM printing to learn on if just starting out on 3D printing, instead of resin. Less mess/smell as mentioned above.

  • I started 3D printing with resin and although there's a steep learning curve, I found it far more useful than a FDM machine. Resin has a lot of clean up and some real risks involved, but the process is straightforward.

  • Are they not offering free resin? That deal should still be on.

    • Not that I am aware of for this listing

      • That’s because it’s the wrong listing.

Same price but also with resin. So this deal is not technically a dupe but it’s just a worse deal.

        • Are you sure that that deal still includes the free resin? From what I can see the deal charges $150 for the printer, or $183 if bundled together with 1kg of resin.

          • @Laurite: Not sure, it does say limited gifts available. The free resin is only 500g, not the 1kg in the extra resin dropdown.

        • I received 2x 500g resin for free with my order through that listing
