That seems like almost all the brands available in the market.

        • +14

And you will mostly get the cheapest brand.

        • +2

          bongocat is the Luke's bane.

  • +13

The price is dropping everyday, just wait.

    • +5

No one has money to spend, interest rates been jacking every month.

Holding out another 6-7 months till I snap up plenty of bargains

  • -6

Does this price include Windows ?

    • +26

      Looking for something to lick?

      :D

      • -2

Do you want to be lick by @jv

    • +3

There is a window you can stare at, but it’s not the window you want.

    • +3

Why do you ask questions that are answered on the product page?

      • -4

        I'm asking to confirm.

Every PC I've bought included windows.

        • +4

It does include it. It’s just not licensed.

          • @ATangk: The disadvantages of not activating Windows 10/11 include having limited access to some basic features and not being able to customize your display. Users of unactivated Windows 10 aren't eligible for crucial security updates, bug fixes, or patches. You also won't get to personalize your lock screen

            • @MuddyClear: so windows doesnt overly need to be activated? i never realised…

              • +1

@fordleg: you can also re-use old licenses from old machines (sometimes you'll need to call and go through an automated process), or buy grey-market licenses for like $5-$10. i've used gamers-outlet, and cjs plenty of times for windows and office licenses without issue. CJS has a Windows 10 Pro license for $3.78 USD

              • +1

@fordleg: It doesn't. But with how cheap eBay keys are you might as well get rid of that watermark.

    • Just an installation and its not activated. You need to buy a license from microsoft or off ebay ;)

    • No it doesn't that and few other things like Harddrive noting being included by default has put me off techfast deals. Tho having said that this one is getting close for me just never been non intel and I want i7 performance or equivalent.

      • You of course realise there are so many i7's that are slower than Ryzen 7 5700X? … probably need to be a bit more specific than assuming i7 means fast given there are so many versions

  • +4

I'm sure people just upvote these deals cause the PC look pretty and they 3080?

    • I'm not saying it isn't a good deal though.

      • -1

U gonna upset tech fast fan boi

    • Yes. 5 months ago this type of PC would have cost another extra $1K.

      • +2

Can confirm. Bought one of these deals 5 months ago

        • Haha same here man. Glad to know I'm not alone.

Have definitely got my money's worth out of it though.

      • maybe 1 year ago or at least 8 months.

5months ago VGA was cheap already

  • +1

    telling me i bought a 6600 in Jan for 6800 prices now…

    • +1

      Thats how tech works bud

      • +1

Wouldn't be so bad if the system was such a pos - failed cpu cooler on start up the month later failed psu now just returned it for the third time as it wont power at all (PLE Build)

        • +4

Idk myself and other friends have bought builds from Luke in the past and we have had nothing but the best experience with TechFast. Sorry to hear about your situation.

          • +3

@jakeh87: all good - Im pushing for a refund now and will go the TechFast way if that goes through - thanks for the recommendation

          • +2

@jakeh87: HsvPete is referring to a PLE build not Techfast. Wasn’t clear.
            I’m also a happy 3080 Techfast customer.

  • Hey Luke, any chance that you can add this case selection to the other deal(i3-12100F)?

    • +6

Happy to pay a bit extra to get rid of the unnecessary LEDs for office use

  • Can anyone point me to what the Lance-V2 RGB [ATX] Case actually looks like? Google shows nothing

  • Just wondering about a couple of things, would this benefit with better cooling or is the stock fan sufficient? Also what is the go with the OS does it come onboard or do I have to pay the extra?

    • If you're planning on gaming its a good choice. This deal comes with a 120mm AIO as the standard cooling option.

      • Thanks for the info sorry still wondering about the OS

        • No worries, these systems come with Windows preinstalled but not activated. You can purchase the activation from the page link.

        • +1

OS activation costs extra. A non-activated copy of windows is installed as part of their QC checks.

        • +1

Get a windows key for $20 at scdkey

          • @[Deactivated]: That’s a known malware site

          • @[Deactivated]: I'd just recommend ebay to be honest. Cheaper and if the key's a dud you'll have an easy way of getting your cash back.

            • @N1NJ4W4RR10R: I couldn’t see any cheap ones on eBay, I used a prepaid visa gift card to purchase a windows 10 key from there a few weeks ago & got it straight away & activated a bpc prebuild with windows 11.

  • seems like the GPU price stabilized a bit lately?

3080 still not below $1000 is surprising.

    • Australias stock of nvidia cards prices always fall last,
AMD on the other hand has dropped everything considerably, some 6900xt models under 1200.

  • +1

    Nice build Luke,
Super tempting, but I think I'll hold out for next gen as it is so close now.
Looking forward to seeing your pre-order next gen build once the CPU / GPU's are ready to drop

    • What's so special about next gen?

  • With prices plummeting, I feel like pre-builds are becoming less value for money.

  • +1

Same deal as in May but more RAM, more HDD space and worse MOBO

  • lol for a second i thought 5700xt

  • Hey Luke, I have a psu laying around is it possible to get this without the included PSU? if so how much would the PC cost?

    • +1

Minus $5 bucks for the Chinese PSU is my guess

      • Unfortunately, we can't ship these builds without the standard components that are listed.

  • honestly this thing is a beast, adding a second 1TB nvme drive, 850w psu and a 240 liquid cooler… it still comes in at around 2418 delivered. Absolute beast.
    \

  • so tempted by this deal, Any chance this can be posted with the intel i7-12700F chip?

  • Getting closer to what I'm looking for. Prefer slightly less power in the video card, smaller form factor and perhaps i5 12600k but almost jumped at this one. Getting closer

    • They will probably build what you want if you ask

  • +1

Any chance I can assemble it myself? I'd like to build it and keep the boxes.

    • +4

Might as well order your own parts then, cheaper too.

      • +3

        I don't think it's cheaper

    • They ship these systems out in one box i.e. the built system inside one box (specifically the box that originally held just the case). I suspect that shipping each part will mean you need to pay more for shipping.

  • +4

Do you actually have motherboards in stock? Been waiting weeks for the 5600 and 3070 system.

    • -1

Are you telling me it’s not:

Our current estimated time from order placed to dispatch is approximately 5 business days (Monday to Friday).

      • +1

That's what my order said too. I've had good experiences with these guys in the past, one was a delayed order for my cousin's PC, but we expected it due to the shortages, this order made less sense.

    • +2

Don't hold your breath, I waited 4 months despite being told everything was in stock.

  • If my order from a couple of weeks ago hasn’t shipped yet can I change it out for this one? 🥲

  • Hi @luketechfast. I'm getting a "Warning: Coupon is either invalid, expired or reached its usage limit!" message. Has it expired?

    • Just tried it now, seems to be working fine

      • yes, appears to be working now. Thanks

  • Does anyone know how many additional 3.5" drives can be installed in the Leaper Air Maxx case?

    • +1

You can fit a total of 2 3.5" drives in the HDD bay.

  • Would be great if you offered more payment plans, like Humm!

    • do more ozbargaining, save $s for your purchases….
Those things would cost them money and increase costs

  • How would this run a 38in Alienware monitor?

    • Answer A: plug in a HDMI cord.

Answer B: if you're asking how well the graphics from this computer will be able to render a AAA game at medium refresh rate on a large 4k monitor, there are plenty of sources out there that can tell you that for 4k gaming a 3070 won't cut it but 3080 will have a crack. For high FPS (144Hz for example) on 4k, you'll need a 3080ti or 3090 for most games.
Either you just have "too much money" at that point, or are REALLY desperate considering next gen 4xxx RTX series cards will be dropping this year.

  • Take care! The GTX3080 is likely to be the graphics card eliminated from the virtual currency.

  • why so many like buttons??????????

is this a good deal? i'm so confused

    • +1

Many reasons for the number of likes (currently 100) with so few of those commenting (currently 3, two of whom have Techfast in their top most voted deals according to profile statistics). May just use as a lazy way to bookmark, but mostly ppl can upvote without having to put in a reason …… you can also check someones profile and go to statistics for illumination on fan boi's.

Os ot a good deal, this would depend greatly on your current requirements and who responds.

I'd say it's a reasonable deal if you can pickup from the company and if you're desperate for a 4k gaming rig yesterday.
If your current rig isn't spitting sparks then I'd hodl as this deal uses unknown parts, has a long wait time on builds, shipping can be a killer if your not local (especially if you develop a warranty issue), and there's limited payment options (no paypal).
It's also end-of-life tech with very limited future upgrade options. As I understand it we'll shortly have good prices on new gen PCIe5.0 mobo's with DDR5, new gen GPU's with 16pin support from the new gen PSU's, new gen CPU's.

Shop around as many deals on this site can be falsely padded with upvotes.

I'm desperate for a system now but have a good GPU so Im getting a decent rig with AMD 5500, 16GB RAM, m.2, etc for $610. The company has some great specials (like a RTX3070 for $730 or RTX2060 $400) atm so I may even do some upgrades, they also have a 1 day build time. They even do a system similar to this deal but with different specs (e.g. x570 mobo, etc) for only slightly more (what you'd pay in freight).

      • This is a very informative post. Checking out that link you posted though - they could do with a bit of updating of their website, legit looks like something from 20 years ago!

        • Money saved on a simple web design is money saved on our parts ;)

Honestly though, while I agree the site lacks the flare and drop boxes we've come to expect these days the prices are always very competitive and they've consistently provided quick responses to any emails or calls I've made. In fact the prices and build time were so good I ended up getting them to do a system with a RTX3060, 1st time I've ordered a pre-build since my 1984 Data General with flicker free monochrome screen!

  • Can this rig take a PCIe card like the TP-Link AC1200 WiFi Bluetooth 4.2 PCIe Adaptor instead of the two USB ones suggested as options for upgrade? ie
    600Mbps USB Wi-Fi Adapter (+$39.00) and AX1800 (1800Mbps) Dual-Band USB Wi-Fi 6 Adapter (+$69.00)

  • Hi Luke, would it be possible if I wanted to upgrade the motherboard to say the x570?

Also, it currently only supports Ethernet for the internet right? Wifi can't be connected as is.

  • 5800x3d prebuilt pls

  • comes with any particular OS ?

    • Windows 10 not activated
