Any Fees?

We charge a service fee of 7% on the total of your shout. For example, if you shout someone a coffee for $5, we'll add on a service fee of 35c. The fees cover the running costs of the App, GST, the issuing of the prepaid card, and the infrastructure to support the program. We hope you'll send and receive shouts so you see for yourself what a great experience we have created.

When paying for shouts, we suggest using a debit card as some credit cards may attract a cash advance fee which is not in Shouta's control.

      Well if you use the code again, says you already used it but still discounts $5. Didnt proceed with transaction

        I gave it a second go. It charges you the full amount.

        A little misleading because it shows the discounted price at checkout but I guess serves me right ha.

    Downloaded app, signed up and bought but definitely did not trust the process

    Afterwards my account was blocked. Not a good start

      Thanks for your note. We block any accounts that we deem might be showcasing suspicious activity. We have over 27,000 active users on our App and can confidently say that we not trying to canvas anyones details. If you look at this feed alone there are a number of OZ Bargain individuals who have been able to successfully redeem the coupon code.

    Signed up and tried to buy a gift card but received a message that my account has been locked. To unlock it I would need to upload drivers licence or passport photos, credit/ debit card photos and a bank statement photo. Don't think I will be doing this.

      Once you're in the App, at checkout once you add the code it will tell you whether or not the code is valid or not. At 5pm, Fri 15 July there are still redemptions remaining :)

      Great question! The Shouta Mastercard does work online but with Australian Merchants only.
