DIGIDI20

The code was active this morning but I was not able to write a post till my lunch break.

Also some big discounts for top end items off the RRP. I won’t be surprised some of them might sold out quickly or get removed when Digidirect realise they are not making profits ;-)

      • Fuji instax mini Evo Camera @ $239 is the stand out for me.

Still got 4 packs of film to go through

I believe you have missed the point my friend 😄

film is just so much expensive these days. (ofc I know everything going up in price eventually)
I used to be so into film photography few years back, always went to filmneverdie (back when they were operating from a garage) for my film needs. The community was small back then so it felt adventurous everytime I go buy supplies lol

      • i shot a bit of 35 and 120 back in the day when I worked in camera retail and we had an in-house film dev lab, so processing AND prints were very affordable, even if there was only like..2-3 nice photos out of the roll. These days, yikes.

        • +1

yeah. One day I realized that it cost me $15 (a 35mm roll) + $10 (processing) for just few nice photos, after that day I went with a fujifilm x100 haha

          • +1

@trantonz: i miss my x100s :c but its 2022 and they've still yet to make an x100 variant with IBIS smh

          • @trantonz: If you have a few nice photos from the roll it's a reasonable price. Especially if you enjoy doing film photography.

            • @DmytroP: reasonable for some does not mean reasonable for other. It's not for me tbh.

      • +1

Yeah just the added costs are insane, I took 5 rolls of film to the snow and took some photos, cost me 80 dollars to process it and most of it looked eh so its getting difficult to convince myself if it's worth it anymore

        • true. With the cost of film photography, you seriously need to plan well ahead for every shot to justify the cost. It's not for fun anymore.

    • It's fun. I shoot digital for most work and film for fun as a bit of a mental separation.

I know Nikon are raising lens prices but even after this 20% discount you can find them cheaper. 50mm f1.8 is $856 at Amazon and $919 from Digi.

    • The good deals seem mainly with Canon and Sony gears.

  • Still have OMD EM5 Mk1. Not sure any significant improvement with Mk2 and Mk3?

  • All their mobile phones are at least 15% higher than others.

  • Is anyone able to use eBay gift vouchers to pay? I’m getting an error that only 1 code can be applied (which is for 20% off). Thanks!

    • +1

Gift vouchers cannot stack AFAIK. Gift cards, yes.

      • It worked thanks!

snagged the brand new Fujifilm X-HS2 for -$837 before they yanked it from the sale 😄. always the best bargains from the Digidirect eBay sales, highly rate it.

    • Agree as I got some good bargains from these promotions, but not everything are lowest prices, still need some research. Best deals usually gone within the first 8 hours. I am seeing a few items where the quantity had been changed to be out of stock… to their credit, looking at history, some of these the prices were lowered (vs jacking) a couple of days before the sale, so with another 20% off made them genuine better deals.

  • The Galaxy S22s are actually quite well priced after the 20% off, on-par or cheaper than Samsung's own EDU pricing:

    Samsung Galaxy S22 256GB Phantom Black: $1031.20 (https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/403525413753)

    Samsung Galaxy S22+ 256GB Phantom Black: $1271.20 (https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/353950507432)

    Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra 128GB Phantom Black: $1431.20 (https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/403525413641)

    Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra 256GB Phantom Black: $1599.20 (https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/403525413708)

Now only if JBHiFi can price match…(but they don't)

  • Fujifilm xf 90 f2 comes down to $1079.

plus there's Fujifilm cashback $200 for 90 f2, ends tonight. so really is $879

you'd be lucky to get 90 f2 used off eBay at this price.

  • Sony A7R Mark IV A is back in stock today!

    • At RRP or discounted price?

      • Discount. Put in the code at check out.

  • Camera market is in mega decline

    • Why?

      • because

        • Because of smartphones

          • @MrBillions: Thank you for a sensible reply, rather than an idiotic one.
