Does anyone who has the 2722QC use the USB-C in alternate Displayport 1.4 mode. Wondering if it is better than using HDMI. My work laptop is a Dell workstation that needs 2 UCB-C cables and a Dell dock to power it, so 65W is useless.

  Their estimations are way way exaggerated. Every time I have purchased one of their monitors it has had an estimated delivery of a month, but arrives within days of ordering.

Has prices gone up for monitors? Doing some searches on ozbargain found a monitor that was $60 cheaper a year ago. I am wondering if its worth waiting to see if prices will go back to those days or if its just part of standard inflation / price hikes and not because of covid / demand / lack of chips etc?

When the items came on sale to the evening the number of units that sold S2721QS was hardly under 10. Little later I checked and was sold. Dell website also has them on sale and with shopback gets to around 335$ or so. Maybe the eBay sold units didn't register the count yet. But if true not good.

Silly of me not to look at the estimated shipping date, but either way, thanks OP! I've been looking for a 4K USB-C monitor for a while now, and I pulled the trigger on the S2722QC! It's going to arrive a couple of days before my dissertation is due, so won't be useful for that, but home office will get an upgrade!

  If you're talking about the estimated date on the ebay website I'm pretty sure that's inaccurate. I got mine less than a week after I ordered it. Judging by the comments it seems people got theirs way before the estimated date as well.
