    Have the 2nd gen Show 8 from Prime Day.
    I wouldn’t call it laggy at all. I mean it’s not as responsive as an iPad but it’s a mostly a voice controlled display/hub, as opposed to a touch screen device.

      Yeah it's not slow when using voice, but it is slow using the touchscreen.

      My google nest home device is far more responsive

  Does the 2nd gen Echo Show 8 have a full screen clock like the 5's?

  Also, recently had a gen 1 develop this screen stutter thing. It goes away for a few hours, then it's back. Tried factory reset, leaving it unplugged for an hour, and updating firmware, guess i'll have to invest in a new one since it's over 2 years old :o/
