  • Jurassic Park

Experience one of the biggest films in motion picture history with director Steven Spielberg's ultimate thrill ride, Jurassic Park. Featuring Academy Award winning visual effects and groundbreaking filmmaking that has been hailed as "a triumph of special effects artistry" (Roger Ebert), this epic film is sheer movie-making magic that was 65 million years in the making. Jurassic Park takes you to a remote island where an amazing theme park with living dinosaurs is about to turn deadly, as five people must battle to survive among the prehistoric predators. Rediscover the breathtaking adventure you’ll want to experience again and again.

  • Jurassic Park 2: The Lost World

Director Steven Spielberg takes us back to the scene of Jurassic Park in The Lost World, the blockbuster sequel with even more dinosaurs, more action and more breathtaking visual effects than its record-breaking predecessor. The Lost World remains among the most successful films of all time and features an all-star cast including Jeff Goldblum, Julianne Moore and Pete Postlethwaite. It has been four years since the disaster at Jurassic Park and two groups are in a race against time that will determine the fate of the remote island's prehistoric inhabitants. Take home this classic film that will leave you on the edge of your seat…again!

  • Jurassic Park 3

Desperate to find their missing son, Paul Kirby (Macy) and his wife Amanda (Leoni) trick eminent paleontologist Dr Alan Grant (Neill) into accompanying them to Isla Sorna, a second InGen site, eight years after Dr Grant swore never to return to the area of the would-be amusement park built by wealthy misguided visionary, John Hammond. Dinosaurs were smart and sophisticated smarter than primates as Dr Grant knows and his worst fears are realised as the small team embark on what seems an impossible and dangerous task, searching through a deserted island inhabited by ferocious dinosaurs.

  • Jurassic World

22 years ago, John Hammond envisioned a theme park where guests could experience the thrill of witnessing actual dinosaurs. Today, Jurassic World welcomes tens of thousands of visitors, but something sinister lurks behind the park’s attractions: a genetically modified dinosaur with savage capabilities. When chaos erupts across the island, Owen (Chris Pratt, Guardians of the Galaxy) and Claire (Bryce Dallas Howard, The Help) race to restore order as a day in the park becomes a struggle for survival.

  • Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom

It's been three years since theme park and luxury resort Jurassic World was destroyed by dinosaurs out of containment. Isla Nublar now sits abandoned by humans while the surviving dinosaurs fend for themselves in the jungles. When the island's dormant volcano begins roaring to life, Owen (Chris Pratt) and Claire (Bryce Dallas Howard) mount a campaign to rescue the remaining dinosaurs from this extinction-level event.

Oh dear, did you really compare digital to physical?

      • -1

Just suggesting a cheaper alternative for those unaware. I certainly wouldn’t want physical copies especially if I have nothing to play them with.

Wouldn't want digital copies if had nothing to play them on either.

          • @xoape: Oh dear, are we talking about personal preferences

  • Is the latest movie really as bad as the reviews?

    • They modernised it in a bad way but was still a fun movie. Lots of nostalgia for the older fans.

    • I enjoyed it more than the 5th one. It helped that it wasn't set inside a house.

    • It was woeful.

Only the nostalgia stuff was redeeming.

People saying 6 was bad but 4 and 5 were just as uninspiring to say the least.

I'd say the order of best to worst pretty much goes 1 to 6 in order.

I hated the World Trilogy. Atleast the 3rd has a Spinosaurus and Alan Grant to make it a little fun, instead of made up monsters.

Glad people shared a similar view as me. This new trilogy in my view is really uninspiring and story ridiculous.

Even as a Dinosaur tragic as a kid, and heck, still… I'd have been happier had the Sequel Trilogy never existed.

@scuderiarmani: My first movie in the cinema was JP1.

And yep, massive dinosaur geek as a kid. I recall buying the magazines which had glow in the dark T-Rex pieces included. You progressively built the T-Rex from pieces you collected. Came with 3D glasses.

    • Nah, I thought Dominion was fine. I went into it with no expectations of seeing an Oscar-winning epic I suppose, and correctly anticipated how things would go, which by and large were accurate. Just enjoy it for the action film it is, with some familiar faces rounding out the last in the series.

I think that people generally have such high expectations of movies - or at least the ones we saw growing up that gave us those childhood feelings you’ll never be able to recapture (like many experiences), that no matter what they produced we still would of complained it wasn’t as good as our first JP experience as kids.. but that was never really going to be. Just my opinion.

      • Enjoy it for the genetically engineered bugs eating crops? That's what a Dinosaur movie has become?

The recent Ghostbusters movie is proof you can rekindle the experience.

  • Hats off to them, they actually made 3 look good with this Trilogy.

  • Price now $58.45.

      Cheers, scooped it.
