Free Accor Live Limitless Gold Status When Linking Your QFF Account (Silver Status or Above, Points Club Plus, Chairmans Lounge)

2220

A decent alternative to the IHG Rewards offer that's currently on offer, and a much better offer than buying the status for $399

"Qantas Frequent Flyers who hold at least Silver status, Points Club Plus or Chairmans Lounge benefits can upgrade to ALL Gold status when they register by 12 August 2022."

Hi and miss really. Sometimes I book on third party and get benefits, sometimes not.

      • so I assume the advice will be just ask for benefits at check in, is that all that's needed?

        • +1

I normally ask them to add my membership at check-in to recognise my benefit. If they don't add it then I know I won't receive any.

    • +1

When I was Accor Platinum, I received the benefits regardless of where I booked. Upgraded to club lounge rooms regularly.

All depends on if the rooms are available as well. But club/executive lounge access is worth it regardless of the room upgrade.

      Same Hilton Hilton Rewards.

    I'm only bronze :(

    • +1

We were all Bronze at one stage :)

  • Cool. Link the ALL even though i dont know when I'm going book Accord hotel.

  • Interesting it says on here you can get Accor Platinum if you have Qantas Platinum.

    • Qantas Platinum One != Platinum

  • Damn I just checked and all my Covid status extension have runout and I'm back at bronze :( don't think I'll make it back up anytime soon as my business travel is massively reduced

  • Had errors trying to link my ALL account :( Unlinked an old account, how do you re link qff to accor again?

  • +1

This is a good offer and I will take it up, even though I never stay with Accor.

Becoming Gold, though, will put you in the frame for a status match with one of the other chains and potentially, offer up a crack at Platinum status which is where the perks really kick in. I did this to land Platinum status with Marriott and the lounge access and 4pm checkouts have saved me a bucket.

  • Anyone know a free way to get elite status with Hyatt, Wyndham, MGM or Caesars?

I'm surprised people were still able to retain their Qantas silver/gold status during covid…

  • I tried today but failed to get Gold status. I have Platinum with Qantas FF, and Silver status with Accor. Initially it did not let me link again with QFF and Accor, saying it is already linked. I then unlinked it, and then link again using the button, I still only get Silver with Accor.

Could anyone tell how to overcome that?

    Thank you.

    • It’s going to take days/weeks for them to actually do the upgrades. Did you receive confirmation that your accounts were now linked?

  • So these benefits only work if you actually book direct with hotel, and not with something like Qantas Hotels?

    • Yes that is correct. There is no double dipping

Has anyone had the new status reflect in their ALL account yet and how long did it take? I know the email says it will happen within 4 weeks but had hoped it might happen earlier. (We are heading to an Accor hotel in 8 days time and hoping to take advantage of the status - room upgrade :)

    • I'm still yet to have the status change. Did the sign up about a week ago.

  • Still waiting here, taking a very long time.

  • Still waiting for mine to flip from Classic.

  • Hopefully this exists forever, under the assumption that if you are QFF Gold Lifetime, I can just always renew this offer (assuming that its always available) or is it a one time offer?

  • Still waiting too - been 10 days. As soon as I click over to Gold, I'll change it back to earning Accor points which is far more valuable to me than earning a few measly QF points. With the various promos of double or triple points, you can get up to 20 - 25 per cent back in Euros.

    • +1

Looks like the QFF points are actually on top of what you usually earn with ALL.

Gold status will be reflected within the member’s ALL - Accor Live Limitless account within 4 weeks of the offer end date.

  • Anyone get upgraded yet?? Or is it a big switch on the last week of the 4 week wait time…

    • I wouldn't be remotely surprised if it takes longer than 4 weeks.

  • It’s four weeks today right?

    Anyone been upgraded yet?

      • Got it, so 12th September is the magical date.

        • Four weeks after the offer end end date is 9th Sep so that should be the magical date.

Flying out over the weekend and was looking forward to an upgrade at the hotel, might be lucky to get a free glass of water on arrival with these guys!!! guessing another week till the deal becomes real…

My account has now been upgraded to Gold

    • Yes I just checked and I’m upgraded to Gold now as well - that’s happened sometime in the last 24 hours

      • Same here!

    • Damn… still waiting here….

  • Now that I am Gold, trying to make my first reservation. On the benefits page https://all.accor.com/loyalty-program/cards-status-benefits-…

It says 'From your first reservation, get up to 10% off when booking on all.com or the Accor ALL mobile application.'

However it only shows 5% as the discounted rate? How do you get 10% off?

    • +1

The key phrase being "get up to 10% off"

  • Anyone else still waiting?

    • Still waiting too.

  • -2

My account is now upgraded to gold. I thought I read somewhere that Accor would match my Qantas status so was expecting platinum.

  • +1

Anyone still waiting for the upgrade?
