    It's 19.75including shipping and tax

  • doesn't seem to have bad review. ordered one

  • +12

nice i didn't get an airpod now i can buy 20 of these

    • +1

exactly the reason why i bought a copy. then i lost them (rubber case became lose).
$15 later and we are up running again.

  • +2

Can vouch for these. Very good.

  • +2

They are good, but the most annoyed "feature": they have some sort of sensor, where it's detected they are in ear or not… so this sensor doesn't work 100% correct. And you try to listen to music and it stops all the times…

    • +3

Can you turn that off like u can for airpods?

    • I have a different model with in ear detection sensors and I agree the sensor is annoying. Every time it thinks your have pulled one out it triggers the pause function, and it happens when you don't want it to most of the time.

Also sometimes while I am listening I like to take one out and scratch my ear if it is itchy, I want the video to continue playing even if I am just listening with one ear.

    • I have two other Lenovo TWS, they have their own annoyances it's strange why they dont fix it. One of them will go full 100% volume announcement when it's connected/disconnected and low battery charge, it's extemely annoying and painful when it does it. Does this model 'yell' at you?

      • I have a Taotronics TWS that does the exact same thing. 100% volume on announcements.
"Power on" and "Connected" announcements are less of a problem at full volume because you are expecting it when putting them in, but when it shouts "BATTERY LOW" unexpectedly it does catch me off guard.

It's a soft female voice that speaks, but doesn't make much of a difference when it's blasted at you.

  • +1

Wish it didn't have touch controls

    • +3

I have to agree actually. Especially when the touch controls are on the stem's they are very finicky and sensitive leading to skips to next video/track or play pause by accident when you adjust them in your ear. On top of that adjusting volume with by sliding the touch control on the stem is also tricky to do. If you do it too strong it grips your finger and the earbud almost falls out, press too light it just doesn't register.

I managed to find a good alternative recently which uses tap function on the top of the earbuds only, this has been a real improvement in usability since I no longer accidentally trigger anything and tapping to adjust volume also works much better. Only issue is single tap on right is to raise volume, but double tap triggers play/pause. So I have to single tap slowly to raise the volume which is slower than sliding to raise volume. No issue though usually I have it close to the volume I want anyway.

TLDR: Sorry for the long comment. I only just found these but check them out, they have physical buttons instead of touch and the reviews are pretty good. Only $13 more than this deal and fulfilled by Amazon AU so easy returns within 30 days. https://www.amazon.com.au/Wireless-Bluetooth-Waterproof-Micr…

Are these a real Lenovo product? I can't find any mention of them in Lenovo's system.

    • They do have some, but different.
      https://www.lenovo.com/us/en/p/smart-devices/smart-home/smar…

It's possible it's their same electronics repackaged in a knockoff housing by a third party. I don't think Lenovo could get away with the Apple IP infringement directly. It's not even on their weird China market page.

      • +2

Nothing intellectual in having similar looks. Apple should pay royalty to farmers for copying the real apple design (looks :).

    • These are likely for south east asia market only, where replicas and fakes are rampant. Would be tough to figure out if you are not a local.

I’m somewhat of a connoisseur when it comes to cheap semi in ear earbuds and IMO you can’t go past these for $16.70. Almost on par with the Soundpeats air3

They look bulky but they are really light. I often don’t realise they are still in my ear. Very good bass. I havnt tried these lenovos but I have tried a similar model from them and they were pretty average.

    • +9

So get the Lenovo's or the taotronics? I'm confused!

      • +27

Sorry. I smoked a little weed earlier for the first time in a while. I can’t speak for this exact Lenovo model but the taotronics are very good.

    • Have you tried the QCY T13? How do these compare?

      • +2

No I havnt. I don’t like the earbuds with the rubber tips.

      • +1

For what it's worth, I've had QCY T2C since late 2019 and they're still going strong. They sound good, battery still lasts ages and most importantly, the pairing and connection works flawlessly. I've only just bought QCY T17 as a replacement because I broke the lid on the T2C from dropping it a few too many times. They still work, I just figured why not get a backup pair for $21.

      • +1

I’ve had QCY T4 for a year and a half and they’re still going strong. Still heaps of battery life and sound is good. Lasted longer than my friends AirPods.

    • Tried the jlad bud earphones?

I was eyeing them since they are cheapish from jb and they seem to have a good reviews.

    • Are soundpeats odms? I bought a dubois s5 and my mother wanted a similar style so got the soundpeats one. Exact same design, software etc.

I wonder who the odm is.

    • disagree with this man, i have that pair and the left one doesnt play audio unless i recharge it. only used itr once or twice. they're good if they work though but mine turned out to be a dud.

    • I too disagree. sound is good but the mic is absolute lottery - on days it works, some others people cant hear me unless i yell.

    • I'm not going to profess myself to be any kind of connoisseur, but I tried the Taotronics and they are garbage. Very poor sound quality compared to my QCYs. No bass, horrible screechy highs. And I know this is individual, but poor fitment. They would probably fall out walking, let alone doing any kind of exercise.

I should have realised when Connoisseur Packa said he doesn't like earbuds with rubber tips. But I took a gamble at a silly low price to try a different style. I tried jamming then right into my ear canals to get a better seal and see if it helped the sound quality but it didn't. Avoid.

I also got the QCY T17 to potentially replace my aging QCY T2C. They sound better than the T2C; smaller buds, great fit & less noticeable in your ear. Smaller case with usb-c vs. micro. But the deal breaker is the touch sensitive buttons (capacitive touch? vs. physical clicky buttons). Way too easy to accidently trigger a touch when fitting/adjusting and no feedback if you're touching the right spot to double/triple tap. Also the QCY app doesn't work with the T17, only the higher spec T17S. I'll keep using them and see if I can get used to the buttons, but I'm not hopeful.

Overall, sticking with the T2C and looking for a backup pair without paying 3x the original price.

Put an order in and cancelled it in 10 mins after read few reviews from other website. This is not an 'official' Lenovo product as you cannot find any information from the Lenovo website. The sound quality is only 'OK' based on reviews which is especially bad when outside as you have to turn pretty high volume to hear it.
It's good for this price range but unless you really need to have a cheap quality one otherwise it's better to spend a bit more for your ear.

    • any information from the Lenovo website

      Which one?

    • +1

There are tonnes of them on Aliexpress and most of them have the same internals with a different design.
They can easily tune them to sound different with DSP and the different earphone design will also likely affect sound quality.
The bass heavy tuned ones require higher volume levels and will have a shorter battery life. If they sound less bassy you will probably get decent battery life out of them.
They are not terrible but not great either.
If you get a good pair and don't let the batteries inside die they will last and do their job.
If you get a faulty pair, didn't pay via Paypal and the seller does not respond you are s**t out of luck.

  • Does it have a microphone?

    • +1

      Yes but, less quality

  • +2

Bought a pair a couple of months ago. I use them for listening audible books, can easily last for 6hrs before putting them back to the charging case.

    • 6hrs from a single charge is impressive. Most I have gotten from different models is around 4hrs although I listen to them a bit louder than average maybe. And I was only able to test it by leaving them out of the case between uses.
I struggle to run the 4hr battery life down to halfway in a single session with normal use. I don't know if most people will be able to use a set of TWS for 6hrs in one sitting but I guess it's nice to know that it's possible.

  • Not sure if this is Original or Official - still on the fence.

    • $24.25 for me.

    • +1

      If you have eBay plus

    • I have plus, and mine is AU $24.25
      the code might be targetted

      • Maybe, I just searched for them on eBay and the code popped up on the listing.

Ordered a pair, will be handy to have a spare set of buds in the car in case I forget my real AirPods Pro.

  • +2

Thanks, I really shouldn't be on ozbargain after having a few beers but oh well, hopefully this isn't a purchase I'll regret.

    • +3

I think AirPods would be a regret purchase haha

      • +1

Haha, definitely need a few more beers before I spend that much!

        • +1

Nah you got it right mate. Drunken purchases are always these random cheap things.

Sometimes you will just have something cheap randomly show up from china because you don't remember ordering it.

    • +1

lol these would probably cost less than the few beers you just drank

      • +1

Actually I only spent $6.6 on the beers I drank tonight, although my mental arithmetic isn't great especially after a few cheap beers ;-)

  • +2

    subwoofer in ear

    Sounds painful.

  • Are there any cords you can get for these? I find headphones fall out a lot and that is a problem for wireless.

    • Sounds like badly fitting earbuds, you should try different sized tips to make sure they’re getting a secured fit.

That said, why not just buy wired? Wired headphones always sound better for the price, thanks to not needing batteries and electronics for Bluetooth.

      • Unfortunately my phone doesn't have a wired input - I have tried converters to use the charging port as input but no success.

  • For the price, they're excellent. Bought a few sets for myself and some workmates a few weeks ago.
    Can't go wrong for $20~

  • +1

Isn't this a better deal for the PRO version for $16.85? Difference seems to be Bluetooth 5.1 & 500mAH compared to Bluetooth 5.0 and 230mAH
    https://a.aliexpress.com/_mP8PhKE

    • PRO for AU $21.6. The listing is misleading, once you select PRO price changes to $21.6.

      • +1

        "The listing is misleading,"

Standard practice on Aliexpress. You gotta make sure you click the right option when purchasing, otherwise you might think you are purchasing one thing and end up getting something else delivered.

  • Has anyone seen this model listed on their official website?

  • My order keeps cancelling "for security reasons". Anyone know why this might be the case?

    • Are you using PayPal?

      • Nah through VISA

        • And sometimes it was doing it before I got to the payment details.

          • @Dave0: Makes sense. Why not PayPal?

  • Use logic. Avoid if too good to be true.

This works. Only 4 white left now, bought 2

    AU $16.46 https://a.aliexpress.com/_mPu54dU

  • Thanks! Bought for $12.50. Had some new user bonus discount.

  • Ordered this deal on the 31st, arrived today. Opted for the LP40 and not the pros, I already have some in-ear earbuds (with the rubber tips). Bought these XT96s from a previous deal and have used them for a few months. I usually go to sleep listening to music and the buds seemed to get squashed out of shape after falling asleep on them.

Surprised by how Airpods-inspired they are - the case, while slightly rough around the seams, has a similarly satisfying snap on the magnetic lid. The USB-C port is somewhat shallow, and about 1/3 of the plug sticks out of the port. On the reverse side, there's a charging LED indicator that flashes when charging when plugged via a cable, and stays illuminated when charging the earphones in the case. Beneath this is a button which I presume shows battery status when pressed, and is located where there would usually just be a plain circle from the plastic molding of the real Airpods.

Sound quality is fine on the LP40s. If the XT96s are a 5/10, these are a 5.5-6/10, mostly due to the better fit in the ears that blocks out a touch more external sound.
The XT96s I have also seem to connect at 80% volume, these LP40s connect at a reasonable low level.

Can't yet speak to voice call quality or battery life, but the XT96s got around 3.5-4 hrs of music and took ages to charge fully.
The LP40 seem to fit better in my ears (YMMV) than the XT96s I bought previously, and are easier to get out of the case with one hand.
The touch controls appear to be the same - tap once to pause, twice on left/right to lower/raise volume, thrice on left/right to change track back/forwards. Voice assistant triggered by long press. I agree with other comments that I'd rather do without the touch controls. Both seem to have placed the touch-sensitive areas exactly where your hands go when adjusting or removing the headphones, by virtue of their differing designs.

    • +1

"I agree with other comments that I'd rather do without the touch controls. Both seem to have placed the touch-sensitive areas exactly where your hands go when adjusting or removing the headphones, by virtue of their differing designs."

Yeah touch controls on TWS really bother me. I am actively avoiding ones with touch control from now on. Triggering them by accident very often is not something one would call well designed.

I have never used real Apple AirPods, but I hope they have a better touch control experience than the TWS I have tried. I am just assuming here that Apple did a better job at designing them.
If not I would be very upset paying $180+ for a set of Airpods with the same level of accidental triggering.

  • Got it for US 12.43 without any coupons

  • Rubbish. Just received them. A slight movement from walking, or tilting of the head - the sensor thinks the buds been removed from the ear and disconnects/turns off. Walked 1km and disconnected more than 10 times. Pretty much useless.

Sound quality is pretty bad as well. Similar quality to a Sony Casette Walkman from back in the day. Tinny as hell, and fuzzy sounding, not even clear

    In the bin..

Lenovo Lecoo C1 TWS Bluetooth 5.1 Earphones for similar price sound a bit flat, but at least has clarity and just works.

    • +1

"A slight movement from walking, or tilting of the head - the sensor thinks the buds been removed from the ear and disconnects/turns off. Walked 1km and disconnected more than 10 times. Pretty much useless."

I don't get that many accidental triggers, but then again I don't walk around with them I just use mine to watch YouTube/Movies on the tablet. I have a different brand/model with the same sensors but I agree the sensors are terrible.

Maybe keep them around for use when you are sitting/not walking around. At least there will be less triggering. I still manage to have them accidentally trigger though, just not as much. I have more of a problem with triggering the touch functions when I adjust them in my ear.

  • Looks like these Airpod clones (same ones as in this deal) have made their way onto Amazon.
    https://www.amazon.com.au/STGN-Latency-Bluetooth-Wireless-Ea…

STGN Pro4 5s is a horrible name by the way lol. The dead giveaway was the appearance and the second image stating OFFICIAL ORIGINAL "Subwoofer in ear".
