Good price for Aus stock, but if you are happy buying from o/s it is significantly cheaper and also 6gb. No pen though for the international version.

True, but generally AliExpress will be cheaper than most other vendors if your willing to forgo prompt service, speed, warranty, and all legislative Australian Consumer rights and Guarantees.

Additionally, if we posted every Aliexpress bargain this would just turn into AliBargain. (Not snarky)

But saying all that, damn that's a good price.

Mine came in less than 2 weeks and vendor had pretty good service too

You might be projecting a misconception here

FYI, the reason you're getting downvoted is that not all vendors on AliExpress are the same. Yes, you'll probably get slow shitty service if you're ordering a $5 car phone holder from BestElectronicsSupplyStore888, but that's not true of all vendors.

        Clear would like a word

      • Daddy, you are wrong… children knows best

Lots of people have gotten AliExpress products for significantly cheaper than their local brick and mortar equivalent (or match for match).

Never had any issues and have close to a hundred orders with them now over the years.

Massive downvotes incoming for your comment.

      • There's a very good reason why I use AliExpress…

        Product range, availability, and price.

Besides a lot of AliExpress products can now be found on amazon with a higher markup

  • Any suggestions for good Android tablet that is size of iPad mini?

    • Do you need pen function?

      • Nope, just small size with decent specs

          https://www.officeworks.com.au/shop/officeworks/p/samsung-ga…

Would be closest, at that size (8") all the competitor specs drop out

          • @Daddy: 3gb of RAM is not great.

          • @Daddy: Got it for 179 last week, not impressed, posted on Gumtree 😔

            • @hopper: Yeah.. it's $198 at Hardly Normal with $40 gift card if anyone wants to take a punt.

            • @hopper: It kinda gets worse from there at that screen size. At least locally.

          • @Daddy: Well it's actually one of the best 8 inch tablets around that price, most of them at that size only have 2gb ram. I actually have this and use it for my in car entertainment/navigation, otg tablet.

It's okay, it plays wingspan fine and is responsive enough on browser, and has a decent resolution for the size. Don't expect it to win any races though

  • Man when are we going to get some reasonably priced 12-14 inch tabs.

Been holding off replacing my slate 12

    • The s7 FE? What's your idea of reasonably priced?

      • I want the s8 ultra.. just waiting for it to be 50 bux on a plan…

I just want my $200 Lenovo pro credit reinstated

    • I deleted my account with them. I did nothing wrong like you. Been a customer for years. They allowed the offer to others to exploit but removed it from my account the next day so I deleted my account with them. For peace of mind, imagine that you bought one of those cheap tablets and when you received it you realised it was a kids toy and gave it away.

That makes me feel better. Deleting my account now. That'll show them who's boss. Cheers

  • Is this a better deal for an extra $11.09 if you have eBay plus?

    https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/374154452261?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mk…

    • Looks good, but doesn't appear to come with the pen?

  • Australian warranty do you think? It says global firmware version.

And re pen "options like the responsive keyboard* and Lenovo Precision Pen 2* "

Available a buyable add on options?

    I'm pretty keen on this….

  • OP, can you confirm price? Now showing on Amazon for $429.
