    What an explosive deal!

    • +6

i'm sure someone will get a bang out of it

      • +6

I'm shocked to why you guys would think this way.

        • +3

Some people might be buzzing with excitement!

  • +5

Is this the one that blows up?

  • +5

    Boom~Booom~Booooooom~~~~

    • +3

They dont all go boom, some just BUZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ … From the below review it seems buzzing is normal for this model…

dropped my review down from 5 stars because the unit is making a buzzing sound. I contacted the seller and they said that's normal. I would not have purchased with this information, and I'm no longer interested in purchasing another

Don't risk it with Heymix - especially one with minimal reviews. There are plenty of questionable reviews on other Heymix products which include scorch marks, smoke, DOA, early failure, overheating, coil whine, and generally low ratings(<4).

For a selection of reviews, see this comment:

I would strongly recommend something from a more reputable brand(Apple, Samsung, Anker, Satechi, Belkin, etc). If you really have to purchase one, choose one of their products which reviews better.

Every few months its another chinese rebrand of the same low-quality electronics… slap a different brand on it and hope people forget about the last one.

Thanks for the heads up lads!

  • I was nearly tempted buying their stuff - ended up buying Zyron. And now I am worried.

      • They're all OEM chargers. Even bigger brand like Zerolemon or Hyper sell them.

        • +1

Never heard of either of them, but I find it funny that a brand called Zerolemon would sell crap chargers.

      • +1

That isn't the one I have, but it's enough for me to take it out of use.

Was using it to charge devices overnight

    • I have my eyes on one of the Zyron Gan charger as a travel charger for my Lenovo laptop that requires 95W …. hm… maybe I should wait for a good deal on the other brands instead.

Dumped everything heymix I owned in the bin. My walls were buzzing, absolute garbage.

I said in other Heymix posts that I've three products of theirs and all are crap and have issues. Clearly then, I got high on Prime Day and bought a Heymix phone charger for the car at 3am on said Prime Day. Have a guess if it's
    A) working properly or
    B) gets way to hot for liking when it's charging my phone.

  • I bought 2 of the 65w ones last year and didnt see any bad reviews then, the amazon reviews at the time were good too. luckily i havent had any heat or buzzing issues, and i dont leave stuff charged in overnight. Maybe they were good and then got to crap when they became more 'popular'

    • +2

I have 2x 20w and 3x 65w, bought them last June, very happy with the 65w ones for my Samsung phones.

      • +1

Yes, was super surprised to see in the recent posts all about the burning and stuff. Guess we were lucky to get the good batches

    Did someone say lightning?

  • +1

have 4 heymix chargers, no issues with any of them., would have bought one of these but deal finished.

  • I haven't seen any recent posts but what's been the issue? I have a desktop charger that I've been using for over a year and haven't had any issues, and pretty sure they had a lot of upvotes back then

    • +2

It is the issue mentioned above about scorch marks, smoke, DOA, early failure, overheating, coil whine, and generally low ratings(<4). The probably of failure may still be low, but too high compared to other named brand and too high for an equipment which should have next to zero failure. Also, the impact of failure is potentially dangerous for the user or connected equipments.

    • +1

These are bottom dollar units resold under a brand. So many reports of these failing, exploding, causing issues with power circutry.

Considering you're probably selling $500+ devices with these, spend just a little more and get something decent. You're taking such a risk with these units.

    'Hey Explosion'
    'Hey Power Surge'
    'Hey dead devices'

    Don't buy this junk.

  • If this really bad, why there is no bad review in amazon reviews?

    • +1

They constantly create new listings and pairings. If you look in the reviews there are plenty of bad reviews too.

One commenter here also mentioned that Heymix asked him to remove his review in exchange for a full-refund (although hard to confirm).
