    What?

    • UH ?

  • Tell everyone they need deaf aids

    • Last time I went, they upsold me on a pair of musician's earplugs—neutral response curve, moulded to your ear. Totally worth it, in my case. It's been useful at concerts and music festivals, and even on planes.

    jeez…the devaluation of QFF points..
soon they will be giving you points for every fart or burp you do

    • 😁

    • +1

Wait, you aren't collecting fart points in the Qantas Stool app?

      • Haha 🤣
I have 600k QFF I can barely use
And 5mil Krisflyer which I have no issues using

        • If you ever need help using your QFF I'd be more than happy to assist 🙂

I've done two of these test over the last couple of years. Received no points both times. Chased it up with the Audika I went to and still nothing. It's a great service and the hearing check doesn't take long in front of the computer with the headphones on.

Same experience here. I am waiting on points I did months ago. Contacted them and they stated they would follow up but have heard nothing since. I feel it's very close to a scam. Most people forget about the points.

Agreed. On the other hand I like their service. I've been twice so they compared my results to the last time.

  • How accurate are these things with shopping centre background noise, Muzak etc. Years ago these things were done in a sound proof boothe.

I've had tests done in the sound booth before. These guys use the noise cancelling head phones. I found this test pretty good. Not as long as the sound booth test

  • Did the test, pretty quick (~15min), room was fairly quiet, with noise cancelling headphones on so most if any background sounds are blocked out. Now hopefully points get allocated as the Audika centre itself doesn't deal with that and if any problems arise the call centre is the point of contact.

    • How long did it take to get your points?

      • Nothing yet. Did it late on Friday the 5th.

        • Hmm, I was hoping for a quicker turnaround! Just did mine this afternoon, will see how long it takes - if I get the points at all!

        • +1

Mine arrived today in the end.
