oh.. bought from you guys b4.. excellent..

  • +1

Good deal! My last order with these guys was outstanding, I had my memory cards in 2 days! :)

  • Hi Rep,

    Why is this

    http://www.memorycity.com.au/sandisk/140-sandisk-32gb-mobile…

    cheaper than this

    http://www.memorycity.com.au/sandisk/37-sandisk-mobile-micro…

I thought the higher class means its better.

    • Hi,

SanDisk is not producing any of the class6 micro sd.
There isn't many stock left so I still sell them at the price I used to sell.
Class 10 is the model moving in volume so the price is much more competitive.
Make sure you check your device if it could support class10 micro sd. A few issues I received over the week was about compatibility problem with most devices.

  • hd video cards are only 30mb/s and have lower continuous speed.

    • Hi

These are 45mb/s speed rating model released late 2011.
I have been selling for months without any issue, I am using one myself to save pictures n data.
Speed is great tho, read write 25/15mb/s

And also FYI, sold over 1K pcs. I think there's only 1-2 return unit with fault so the quality is pretty good I suppose.

      Cheers

  • i was waiting for one of these to pop up, yahoo!!

shopping square is beating you https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/71684 ??
    any pricematch?

    • was just about to post similar to you! tho I think these guys are australian based sellers..

      • both are legit oz seller, the only difference is their services. But we're here to get a bargain price for the same product.

    • +2

Good point Sonic. I hope Rep can match that. memorycity has got much better reputation here than shoppingsqare.
and also may be SQ ones do not have a retail packing.
Good to see, they are posting it from sydney to reduce the neggs for time taken for postage. I have to wait for 3 weeks for a 16GB microsd from SQ.
Edit: Rep there has claimed their stock in retail packing too. So SQ deal is better than this one now.

    • +3

We want price beat - not match.. :-)

      • +1

WTH? who just negged tae's pricebeat comment?

Fran needs to step up. $39.95 is pretty much standard pricing for these cards. Could have got it cheaper from mymemory.UK last week.

        • u starting a collection of these?

        • This is for my camera, not my collection, plus I only collect microSDs.

      • Fran doesn't need to undercut or even match… The 200 pcs on offer at SS will sell out, and then she'll have the cheapest price.

        • 200pcs minus one now. If it weren't for SS these would still be $39.95. Now SS are $34.75

Plus you need to consider that eBay are taking probably $3-$4 out of every SS one sold. So Fran needed to step up, but no, all we got was a token price beat, which was then beaten again.

danillo vs francesca round 2 come on

    • at 1.40pm MC 15 sold and SQ 28 sold. But SQ has 200 limit. MC is waiting until this units sold out. Bought from SQ now.

      • And as of now, SS posting has more + Votes! C'mon Francesca!

  • +13

I ll match the price and bring it down to $34.80!

    Thank you

    • Nice work!

Although previously when SS undercuts you, you've always said you were unable to match their price because they're in HK and get things for less than you can. What changed?

      • Because it seems that the SS cards are being sent from Sydney now

      • +7

I am making loss on this, still have some stock left in the office with higher cost.
Unfortunately the cost prices has dropped 5-10% as of this morning from SanDisk.
I'm not too sure what postage service does SS use to ship, i am shipping with Registered Post service with tracking number so for this deal i couldn't cover up the cost.

Anyway, hope you guys are happy with the price beat and i ll posting more deals this week

        Cheers

        • +3

On the bright side you will get more customers' trust in your products :)

        • +3

          …and higher ebay feedback too.

      • @lostn
        oh be nice please.
she is doing her best to keep us happy.
and we got a lower price now.
will buy one after work today.

        • I don't know what gave you the impression that I wasn't nice…

          That is your own misunderstanding.

    • For that I am more willing to deal with memoricity for the faster delivery. But I am looking for micro sd 32GB though. Any good deals?

      • Apparently SS ships from Sydney now and just as fast.

If that's the case, my evaluation of SS has just gone up a lot. Not only is SS's deal cheaper than the deal I got from them a month ago, it's also shipping from Sydney which might be more expensive for them to source stock from. The saving is even bigger if you consider that, and the wait time is no longer a couple of weeks.

    • you just sold me, I am grabbing two!

    • Will anything happen to me who purchased under $39.95?

      • +3

Email me with your details, i will refund the diff to you

        Cheers

        • Thanks! Since I can't find your email address, I sent a message out via E-bay system.

        • Awesome. Great customer service!!

      • hard to say, matey.. you didn't even vote Pos upon purchase.. haha..
        I don't represent fran of course.. :-)

  • thanks francesca for price matching just purchased one :)

  • Thanks Fran . I was a bit disappointed about last time when you never fulfilled your 41.95 price for this same SDHC card (and never replied to my pm) … But il take this.

  • Awesome rep awesome company,
please advertise that you are the same person from memorycity so you can carry your reputation along,

  • +1

Memory City is much better than Shopping Square…. at the very least I actually got my SD cards within a few days as opposed to not getting a refund from SS who delivered nothing!

  • +1

If fran is selling at a loss… I'm not sure if I'm helping her by buying from her or not…

    -think about it-

    • Reputation wise you are :)

      Reputation > profit

      • Oh she's got my vote. Just I don't need any more memory cards atm (might get some 32GB pro cards when they drop for my D7000, damn RAW+JPG…)

        • I guess it will help for the eBay ratings. Obviously you have to buy a product to be able to rate it. They'll be getting a positive feedback with five stars from me.

  • +1

Will Tax Invoice be provided for purchases made through your eBay store?

  • +1

ShoppingSquare has just dropped their price to $34.75 lol

    • just buy from here and keep quiet

  • bought! happy with the last 16gb microsd purchase.

  • +1

One thing you have to remember though that is if Memory City didn't initially drop their price then we probably wouldn’t be receiving any bargains at all. That is why I usually buy from the initial bargain poster particularly if they are a small business and the price difference is negligible (in this case 5c).

In regards to larger businesses (e.g the hard drive deal between OW and JB) it would definitely come down to previous customer service, price and location in which Officeworks (for me) wins.

  • kickass,

I've been sitting here with a GoPro Hero2 from last week.. with no memory card to go in it..

Oh ozbargain.. I've spent ~$1k through you in the last 2 weeks.. please make it stop

    • +2

Maybe you need to come long to OA (ozbargainers anonymous) meetings ;)

I'm an ozbargainer and I haven't bought in …. (well ummm 4 hours)

      • +1

Ozbargainers Anonymous is a fellowship of men and women who share their experience, strength and hope with each other that they may solve their common problem and help others to recover from Ozbargaining. The only requirement for membership is a desire to stop Ozbargaining. There are no dues or fees for OA membership; we are self-supporting through our own contributions (and hence, we have few members). OA is not allied with any sect, denomination, politics, organization or retailer, whether online or bricks and mortar; does not wish to engage in any controversy, neither endorses nor opposes any bargains. Our primary purpose is to stay financially sober and help other Ozbargainers to achieve financial sobriety.

  • Hi OZbargainers.

I can vouch for fantastic service from Francesca and MemoryCity. Not only did they contact me to offer direct delivery to my doorstep (due to proximity to their location) but they also communicated with me promptly, resolving my concerns and issues without incident (price adjustment buying an hour too early).
    Very nice.

    • Hi aphan,

      Thank you for your support.

      Cheers

  • Writing speed: 19.2 MByte/s
    Reading speed: 21.7 MByte/s
    H2testw v1.4

Possibly speed limited by the card reader though.

    Would've like a Tax Invoice though ;)

  • Bought one from ebay. It arrived as a regular mail, not Registered Mail as rep promised. Its tracking number does not have any record on Aus Post tracking site.

    • Hi,

We used Registered Post mail to ship them, you can see registered post sticker attached on the package you received.
Sometime AusPost did not update their tracking number instantly, goods may arrive to you in Registered Post mail and not updated on AusPost tracking site.
Signature is required upon arrival with that extra $ we spent on registered post service.

      Cheers

  • Any similar deals on these Extreme cards?
Bought 3 of these for friends when this deal was on, now I need a couple for myself.
