ASUS GeForce RTX 3060 Ti KO OC V2 Video Card $699 Delivered @ BPC Technology

140

Same price as their recent Asus dual card deal which went OOS, though this seems to be a higher tier model.

Delivery seems to be $10 when adding it to the cart and going to check out, though that might change depending on the destination.

Only seems relevant if you need Nvidia features, when you can get a 6700 XT cheaper in many recent deals, which performs better.

Hold, you can buy a 3080 at this price before the end of the year.

2 months ago they said 3080 under a grand by now.
      It's all speculation and guessing.
      Time will tell.

    • The 3060 Tis have been oddly resistant to price changes for months now, and unfortunately I need one due to needing Nvidia features and not being able to aim higher with my power supply. It's maybe due to being castoff 3070s, and the better they get at making 3070s, the fewer 3060 Tis there are.

      • Yeah this is the first major price drop in several months, unrealistic that all models will massively drop price in 3.8 months

Got this model on a price error that I managed to combine with an ebay coupon back in I think January for a little bit less than this - it's a solid card, very chonky boi though. From memory, designed for ecafes so overengineered for prolonged use. Comes with a cool collectible card too. If you need one, this is a good one. Will probably be cheaper though soon enough.

Something something designed by Korean gamers iirc?

      • +1

According to the original ASUS's press releases, the KO (Korean Origin) cards are supposed to be exclusive to South Korea (where a lot of them likely would have been in ecafes). However they started mysteriously popping up in Australia towards the end of last year (notably in that price error ebay listing), and here we are today. Who knows why.

They apparently asked Korean gamers what they wanted in terms of noise and temp, and the reply was shockingly "quiet and cool" so here we have a card with a chunky cooler.

gasp a decent model at 699, $650 might be possible (even if realistically that price difference effects me minimally

I’ve still got time to spend till I do actually require a card so I’ll hodl for now

the fact that a 3070 was in here for the same price a few days ago…

    • +2

Probably, if you have the power supply to handle it.

It seems to be a 0-20% improvement per title from what I can tell, and that's the same brand with a similar build with the same number of fans etc.

      https://www.rockpapershotgun.com/nvidia-rtx-3070-vs-3060-ti-…

3060 Tis are just 3070s which didn't come together as well in the messy and precise way that modern tech is fabricated, so have some parts disabled and are sold as a lower tier card.

  • Get a 6700xt instead or just wait

  • It’s not going out of stock, opportunity for it to drop
